NY Yankees at Baltimore 12:05 PM ET
The New York Yankees are trying to find some momentum to take with them into the playoffs and Mother Nature is not cooperating. After Friday’s game was postponed, the Yankees will try to get in as much of a three-game series as they can when they visit the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday for a split doubleheader to open their final regular-season set.
Kansas City at Minnesota 1:05 PM ET
The visiting Kansas City Royals look to get a leg up on home-field advantage throughout the playoffs and end the Minnesota Twins' bid for the postseason when the American League Central rivals reconvene at Target Field on Saturday afternoon. Kansas City and Toronto both emerged victorious on Friday to remain tied with identical 93-67 records, although the AL East champion-Blue Jays hold the tiebreaker after winning four of the seven meetings this season.
LA Angels at Texas 1:05 PM ET
The Texas Rangers will again try to clinch the American League West on Saturday while the Los Angeles Angels are in must-win mode in their pursuit of a wild-card berth. The Rangers and visiting Angels have split the first two contests of the four-game set and Los Angeles stands one game behind the Houston Astros for the final postseason berth.
Washington at NY Mets 1:05 PM ET
After a less-than-inspired effort versus one National League East rival, the New York Mets look to get back on track against another on Saturday when they open a three-game series with a doubleheader versus the visiting Washington Nationals. Division-champion New York was unceremoniously swept by cellar-dwelling Philadelphia on Thursday afternoon and has dropped nine of its last 15 heading into the final series of the regular season.
Colorado at San Francisco 4:05 PM ET
Nolan Arenado has seized control of the National League homer lead and looks to add to his career-best total when the Colorado Rockies visit the San Francisco Giants on Saturday. Arenado slugged his 42nd homer in Colorado's 9-3 victory on Friday and leads Washington's Bryce Harper (41) and Rockies teammate Carlos Gonzalez (40) with two games remaining.
Miami at Philadelphia 4:05 PM ET
The Philadelphia Phillies are trying to end an otherwise lost season on a high note and bring a four-game winning streak into the final series of the campaign. After rain postponed the series opener, the Phillies attempt to keep the positive momentum going when they host the Miami Marlins in a doubleheader on Saturday.
Toronto at Tampa Bay 6:10 PM ET
Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Marco Estrada can double his previous career high for wins when he goes for his 14th victory Saturday against the host Tampa Bay Rays. Toronto is tied with Kansas City for the best record in the American League and has to like its chances with Estrada, who has not allowed a run in four appearances spanning 21 innings against the Rays this season.
NY Yankees at Baltimore 7:05 PM ET
The New York Yankees are trying to find some momentum to take with them into the playoffs and Mother Nature is not cooperating. After Friday’s game was postponed, the Yankees will try to get in as much of a three-game series as they can when they visit the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday for a split doubleheader to open their final regular-season set.
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh 7:05 PM ET
Veteran A.J. Burnett will make the final regular-season start of his career and there will be a lot riding on it as the Pittsburgh Pirates try to hold off the Chicago Cubs for the top wild card in the National League. Burnett, who is retiring after this season, can help provide the clincher for host Pittsburgh when it continues a three-game series against the skidding Cincinnati Reds.
Boston at Cleveland 7:10 PM ET
The last time the Boston Red Sox attempted a “bullpen game” it went so well they decided to make it a regular part of the rotation closing the season. The Red Sox bullpen will get a shot at its second straight shutout when Boston visits the Cleveland Indians in the second of a three-game, season-ending series.
Detroit at Chi. White Sox 7:10 PM ET
The Chicago White Sox and Detroit Tigers are just playing out the string at this point, but that doesn’t mean each team is laying down over the final weekend. The Tigers will try to even the series and give themselves a chance of finishing outside the American League Central basement when they visit the White Sox on Saturday.
