NY Mets at Philadelphia 1:05 PM ET
After guaranteeing that they'd play at least beyond this weekend, the New York Mets look to secure their second straight postseason berth on Saturday afternoon when they visit Philadelphia Phillies in the second contest of their three-game series. New York, which occupies the top wild-card spot, reduced its magic number to one after a 5-1 rout in the series opener on Friday before being denied a spot in the postseason after St. Louis posted a 7-0 rout over Pittsburgh later that night.
Pittsburgh at St. Louis 1:05 PM ET
The St. Louis Cardinals are one game out of the second wild card with two games to play and don't exactly have their rotation lined up as they would like. Cardinals manager Mike Matheny decided to give struggling Michael Wacha right-hander the start in Saturday's game against the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates but admitted it will be "all hands on deck."
Baltimore at NY Yankees 4:05 PM ET
Much to the detriment of the New York Yankees, the Baltimore Orioles removed any possibility for the 27-time world champions to add another trophy to their collection with a win over Toronto right before the start of their three-game set. With another victory at New York on Saturday in the middle game of their series, the Orioles can potentially begin their march for a fourth World Series title next week.
LA Dodgers at San Francisco 4:05 PM ET
The San Francisco Giants remain in front for the National League's second wild-card spot but face a huge task on Saturday. The Giants face nemesis Clayton Kershaw when they host the NL West champion Los Angeles Dodgers and attempt to either maintain their lead or clinch a postseason spot.
Miami at Washington 4:05 PM ET
Washington Nationals right-hander Tanner Roark will make his third attempt at setting a career high for wins when he goes for his 16th victory against the visiting Miami Marlins on Saturday afternoon. Roark has lost back-to-back starts, including a 1-0 decision at Miami on Sept. 20 in what turned out to be Jose Fernandez's final start before he was killed in a boating mishap.
Chi. Cubs at Cincinnati 4:10 PM ET

Jon Lester has a lengthy list of career accomplishments, but a 20-win season is not among them. The left-hander will try to change that when he and the visiting Chicago Cubs take on the Cincinnati Reds in the penultimate game of the regular season Saturday.

Cleveland at Kansas City 4:15 PM ET
The Cleveland Indians learned on Friday night that their opponent in the American League Division Series will be the Boston Red Sox, although home field has yet to be determined. Trailing the AL East champion Red Sox by a half-game, the Indians will resume their season-ending three-game series at the Kansas City Royals on Saturday afternoon.
Toronto at Boston 7:10 PM ET
David Ortiz has made a habit of torturing the Toronto Blue Jays throughout his long distinguished career with the Boston Red Sox, so it seemed almost poetic he did so again to begin the final regular-season series of his career. The host Red Sox attempt to hold home field for the American League Divisional series and strike another blow to the Blue Jays' postseason chances Saturday when the rivals continue their three-game set.
Minnesota at Chi. White Sox 7:10 PM ET
The Chicago White Sox are looking to finish the season in the same manner in which it began - with a pronounced hot streak. Winners of six of their last seven contests, the White Sox look to continue their good fortune versus the visiting Minnesota Twins on Saturday when the American League Central rivals play the second contest of their three-game series.
Detroit at Atlanta 7:10 PM ET
Miguel Cabrera and the Detroit Tigers are swinging red-hot bats when Mother Nature hasn't doused them with buckets of rain. Cabrera and the Tigers look to make up ground in their bid for a postseason berth as the club vies for its fourth straight victory on Saturday when they play the second contest of a three-game interleague series at the Atlanta Braves.
Tampa Bay at Texas 8:05 PM ET
The Texas Rangers have home field wrapped up for the American League playoffs and their franchise record for wins in a season is well within reach. The AL West champion Rangers can tie their best season of 96 wins in 2011 when they host the last-place Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday in the second of a three-game series.
San Diego at Arizona 8:10 PM ET
Arizona Diamondbacks slugger Paul Goldschmidt has work to do to reach 100 RBIs for the third time in his career. The All-Star first baseman closed the gap in the series opener and looks to creep closer when Arizona hosts the San Diego Padres on Saturday for the middle contest of their three-game set.
Milwaukee at Colorado 8:10 PM ET
The National League home-run title is one of the few remaining areas of suspense as the Colorado Rockies and visiting Milwaukee Brewers continue their three-game series on Saturday. Colorado's Nolan Arenado slugged his NL-leading 41st homer in Friday's 4-1 victory while Chris Carter belted his 40th for Milwaukee's lone run.
Houston at LA Angels 9:05 PM ET
Albert Pujols’ season is over, but Mike Trout still has work to do for the Los Angeles Angels, who have won eight of their last nine games. Trout is one stolen base shy of a 30-30 season as the Angels continue their season-ending three-game series Saturday against the visiting Houston Astros, who were eliminated from American League wild-card contention earlier this week.
Oakland at Seattle 9:10 PM ET
The Seattle Mariners have continued to make the American League wild-card standings congested down the stretch and hope to tighten things up even more when they host the Oakland Athletics on Saturday for the third contest of their season-ending four-game series. The Mariners rolled to their third straight victory Friday, a 5-1 triumph that drew them within one game of Toronto for the second wild card with two to play.
