Toronto at Baltimore 12:05 PM ET
With their first American League East title in 22 years under wraps, the Toronto Blue Jays will continue their quest for home-field advantage throughout the playoffs when they conclude their four-game series versus the host Baltimore Orioles on Thursday afternoon. Toronto (92-66), which split a doubleheader on Wednesday, has won two of three from Baltimore and holds a one-game edge over AL Central champion Kansas City (91-67) with four games remaining on the schedule.
NY Mets at Philadelphia 12:05 PM ET
It was a bad night in the standings and a worse one on the injury front for the New York Mets, who will try to avert a three-game sweep against the host Philadelphia Phillies in Thursday afternoon's series finale. New York coughed up a five-run lead in Wednesday's 7-5 loss, a defeat compounded when center fielder Yoenis Cespedes and shortstop Wilmer Flores were forced to exit the game early.
Chi. Cubs at Cincinnati 12:35 PM ET

The Chicago Cubs are simply trying to stay sharp heading into the postseason, and the struggling Cincinnati Reds haven’t provided much resistance. The Cubs, who still have slim hopes of overtaking Pittsburgh for home-field advantage in the National League wild-card game, look to complete a three-game sweep at Cincinnati on Thursday afternoon.

LA Dodgers at San Francisco 3:45 PM ET
After experiencing a letdown the day after clinching the National League West, the Los Angeles Dodgers attempt to earn a split of their four-game series against the Giants when they visit San Francisco for the finale Thursday afternoon. Los Angeles secured its third consecutive division title with an 8-0 triumph Tuesday but followed up by recording only two hits in Wednesday's 5-0 setback.
Milwaukee at San Diego 6:40 PM ET
The San Diego Padres look to halt their skid and avoid a sweep at the hands of Milwaukee when they take on the Brewers in their final home game of the year Thursday afternoon. They'll have to accomplish the feats without Matt Kemp, who is done for the season with a partially torn tendon in his right middle finger.
Boston at NY Yankees 7:05 PM ET
The scorching Boston Red Sox have done well to delay the New York Yankees' playoff-clinching party and now have their sights set on an end-of-the-season goal themselves. The Red Sox look to extend their longest winning streak of the year and complete a four-game sweep when the rivals square off Thursday night in the Bronx.
Minnesota at Cleveland 7:10 PM ET
The Minnesota Twins look to continue their surge toward the second wild-card spot in the American League when they conclude their four-game series versus the host Cleveland Indians on Thursday. Minnesota, which is vying for its first playoff berth since 2010, breezed to a 7-1 triumph in the opener of a doubleheader on Wednesday for its fourth win in a row and seventh in nine outings before falling flat in the nightcap.
Miami at Tampa Bay 7:10 PM ET
Jose Fernandez attempts to finish the season unbeaten while returning to his second home as the Miami Marlins try to avoid a three-game sweep against the host Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday. Fernandez, who pitched for Alonso High in Tampa after defecting from Cuba in 2008, will make his 11th start of the year after returning from Tommy John surgery.
Washington at Atlanta 7:10 PM ET
Andrelton Simmons is regarded as one of baseball’s elite defensive players, but the Atlanta Braves’ shortstop is finishing his 2015 season with encouraging offensive production. Simmons and the Braves host the Washington Nationals in the finale of a three-game series Thursday, and the Gold Glove-winning Simmons brings a seven-game hitting streak into the contest.
LA Angels at Texas 8:05 PM ET
The Texas Rangers look to inch closer to the American League West title when they open a pivotal, season-ending four-game set versus the visiting Los Angeles Angels on Thursday. The Rangers took two of three from Detroit and can eliminate the Angels from the division title conversation with one victory in the series.
Kansas City at Chi. White Sox 8:10 PM ET
The Kansas City Royals clinched the No. 2 seed in the American League and kept alive their hopes of overtaking Toronto for the best record entering the finale of a three-game series at the Chicago White Sox on Thursday. Eric Hosmer's two-run homer in the top of the 10th inning lifted the Royals to a 5-3 victory Wednesday and assured them of home field for the AL Division Series.
Colorado at Arizona 9:40 PM ET
Walt Weiss is managing the Colorado Rockies for Thursday’s series finale against the host Arizona Diamondbacks, but there’s no guarantee he’ll hold the same position next season. Weiss’ status remains a question mark for the Rockies, who have lost seven of their last 10 games and will finish last in the National League West for the third time in the last four seasons.
