Boston at Baltimore 7:05 PM ET
Baltimore rookie right-hander Mike Wright will have a couple new fans in the stands when he makes his ninth career start Wednesday against the visiting Boston Red Sox. Wright - during his walk home from Sunday night's game versus Kansas City at Camden Yards - stopped to help a motorist who was struggling to change a flat and further brightened the man's night with another kind gesture.
Chi. Cubs at Pittsburgh 7:05 PM ET

The Chicago Cubs turn to one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball over the past six weeks as they look to gain ground in the National League wild-card race Wednesday in Pittsburgh. The Cubs hand the ball to Jake Arrieta as they continue a four-game series with the Pirates after Pittsburgh maintained its four-game lead over Chicago by splitting a doubleheader Tuesday.

Washington at Philadelphia 7:05 PM ET
Highlighted by an impressive power surge, Bryce Harper is doing his best to keep the Washington Nationals' faint postseason hopes alive. After going deep twice to increase his home run total to eight in his last 11 contests, Harper looks to help Washington complete a sweep of the host Philadelphia Phillies when the National League East rivals conclude their three-game series on Wednesday.
Kansas City at Cleveland 7:10 PM ET
Kansas City Royals manager Ned Yost compared his team's recent tailspin to battling the flu, telling reporters that "once it runs its course, then you're fine." Whether the Royals are back on track remains to be seen, but they look to register back-to-back victories for the first time since Sept. 2-3 when they continue their four-game series against the host Cleveland Indians on Wednesday.
NY Yankees at Tampa Bay 7:10 PM ET
New York Yankees designated hitter Alex Rodriguez looks to finish off a dominating season against Tampa Bay Rays pitching when the teams meet in the rubber match of a three-game set Wednesday. Rodriguez has belted eight homers to go along with 13 RBIs, 15 runs scored, 13 walks and a .427 on-base percentage versus the Rays in 2015.
Toronto at Atlanta 7:10 PM ET
The Atlanta Braves snapped a 12-game home losing streak Tuesday, and now will try to give Shelby Miller his first victory in nearly four months when they host the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday. Miller’s winless streak sits at 21 and in 13 of those outings the Braves have not scored a run while he has been in the game, but Atlanta found a way in the series opener to keep the American League East-leading Blue Jays from extending their division lead.
Miami at NY Mets 7:10 PM ET
The New York Mets look to rebound from a rare drubbing and inch closer to a division title when they face the visiting Miami Marlins in the rubber match of their three-game series on Wednesday. After ripping the go-ahead RBI double in New York's 4-3 series-opening victory, David Wright added another on Tuesday before the Mets saw their eight-game winning streak come to a halt with a 9-3 setback.
Houston at Texas 8:05 PM ET
The Texas Rangers are in first place for the first time all season and attempt to stay there when they host the Houston Astros on Wednesday. Texas won the first two games of the four-game set with Houston to overtake the Astros by a half-game in the American League West.
Oakland at Chi. White Sox 8:10 PM ET
After flexing their muscles in an offensive explosion, the Oakland Athletics look to test the limits of the scoreboard once again on Wednesday when they play the third of a four-game series versus the host Chicago White Sox. Josh Reddick is heating up after a sluggish stretch, homering in his second straight contest in Tuesday's 17-6 rout and is 8-for-17 (.471) with seven runs scored in his last four games.
Detroit at Minnesota 8:10 PM ET
Minnesota Twins right-hander Ervin Santana missed the first three months of the season while serving an 80-game suspension after testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance. So it makes sense that Santana is in midseason form as he looks to win his fourth consecutive start on Wednesday in the rubber match of a three-game set against the visiting Detroit Tigers.
St. Louis at Milwaukee 8:10 PM ET
St. Louis is struggling to reach the finish, but it appears Jason Heyward is prepared to carry them across the line as the Cardinals try to make it two straight over the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday in the middle contest of their three-game series. The right fielder is 11-for-23 during a six-game hitting streak after belting the game-winning two-run homer in Tuesday's 3-1 victory in 10 innings which extended St. Louis' lead over second-place Pittsburgh in the National League Central to three g
San Diego at Arizona 9:40 PM ET
Justin Upton has been tormenting his former club this season and looks to serve another reminder when the San Diego Padres visit the host Arizona Diamondbacks in Wednesday's finale of their three-game series. Upton smacked his fifth homer of the season against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday, reaching the upper deck in left field, to help raise his average to .310 with nine extra-base hits in 58 at-bats versus Arizona.
LA Angels at Seattle 10:10 PM ET
The Los Angeles Angels remain in pursuit of a playoff spot and can enhance their chances by claiming Wednesday's series finale with the host Seattle Mariners. The Angels, who posted a 4-3 victory on Tuesday, are four games behind first-place Texas in the American League West and 3 1/2 in back of Houston for the second wild-card spot.
Colorado at LA Dodgers 10:10 PM ET
The Los Angeles Dodgers attempt to secure their seventh consecutive series win when they host the National League West-rival Colorado Rockies on Wednesday for the finale of their three-game set. Los Angeles squandered the chance to extend its 7 1/2-game division lead over San Francisco when it came out on the short end of Tuesday's 16-inning marathon against Colorado.
Cincinnati at San Francisco 10:15 PM ET
The San Francisco Giants attempt to keep alive their slim playoff chances when they host the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday in the rubber match of their three-game series. San Francisco had its four-game winning streak halted Tuesday as it fell 7 1/2 games behind the Chicago Cubs for the second National League wild-card spot and remained 7 1/2 games behind the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NL West.
