NY Mets at Cincinnati 12:35 PM ET
The New York Mets will reach a two-year anniversary Wednesday -- the start of a streak that has seen them win 13 consecutive meetings against the Cincinnati Reds. New York has won four straight games overall and seven of the last nine as it attempts to complete a three-game sweep of the host Reds in a matinee series finale.
Baltimore at Tampa Bay 1:10 PM ET
Chris Davis and the Baltimore Orioles have padded their numbers at the expense of the Tampa Bay Rays this season. With a homer in each of the first two contests of the series, Davis looks to send the visiting Orioles to a sweep of the cellar-dwelling Rays on Wednesday afternoon as the American League East rivals conclude their set at Tropicana Field.
Detroit at Chi. White Sox 2:10 PM ET
Jose Abreu has hit five home runs over his last seven games and looks to continue swinging a hot bat when the Chicago White Sox host the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday in the finale of their three-game series. Chicago's first baseman belted a solo shot in Tuesday's 2-0 victory and is 17-for-42 with 14 RBIs over his last nine contests.
LA Angels at Oakland 3:35 PM ET
The Oakland Athletics have been struggling, but a late-game comeback has put them in position to win their three-game series against the visiting Los Angeles Angels, which concludes on Wednesday. Oakland appeared headed to its seventh loss in eight games before scoring three times in the bottom of the eighth inning to post a 3-2 win on Tuesday.
Toronto at NY Yankees 7:05 PM ET
The New York Yankees are tightening things up in two races with their strong play of late and have a chance to make a statement in the American League East. The Yankees will try to pull off a three-game sweep of the Toronto Blue Jays and turn the division into a four-team race when they host the series finale on Wednesday.
Atlanta at Washington 7:05 PM ET
Ender Inciarte’s first season with the Atlanta Braves started with a hamstring injury and a slump, but the center fielder has more than made up for lost time the past two months. Inciarte brings a 17-game hitting streak into Wednesday’s series finale at the Washington Nationals, and the 25-year-old has recorded at least one hit in 46 of his past 49 starts since the All-Star break.
St. Louis at Pittsburgh 7:05 PM ET
The St. Louis Cardinals are beating away the competition as they inch closer to a National League wild card spot. The Cardinals, who own the best road record in baseball, will try to finish off a three-game sweep at the fading Pittsburgh Pirates and wrap up a 6-3 road trip in Wednesday's series finale.
Houston at Cleveland 7:10 PM ET
The Houston Astros may have misfired to begin their stretch of four consecutive series against division leaders, but they sure are clicking on all cylinders of late. The Astros will vie for their fourth straight victory on Wednesday as they play the third contest of their four-game set versus the host Cleveland Indians.
Philadelphia at Miami 7:10 PM ET
The Miami Marlins got Giancarlo Stanton back on the active roster, but it might be too late to save their season. The Marlins will try to avoid a three-game sweep and a sixth consecutive setback when they host the Philadelphia Phillies in the series finale on Wednesday.
Kansas City at Minnesota 8:10 PM ET
Brian Dozier continues to play his own personal home run derby against Kansas City, but Kendrys Morales and the Royals have provided the counterpunch each time. Kansas City used a late scoring outburst for the second straight night in Tuesday's 10-3 win and goes for a three-game sweep of the host Minnesota Twins on Wednesday.
Chi. Cubs at Milwaukee 8:10 PM ET

Coming off a rare clunker from their pitching staff, the Chicago Cubs look to get back to their dominant ways Wednesday in the finale of a three-game road series against the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brewers are trying to claim back-to-back series victories for the first time since July.

San Francisco at Colorado 8:40 PM ET
San Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy gave many of his regulars a much-needed breather, and perhaps the breath of fresh air was just what the doctor ordered for his struggling club. After scratching for a 3-2 win to even the series, the well-rested Giants look to post consecutive victories for just the third time since Aug. 1 when they play the rubber match of their three-game set with the host Colorado Rockies on Wednesday.
Boston at San Diego 9:10 PM ET
Boston ace David Price aims for his sixth straight victory Wednesday as the Red Sox face the host San Diego Padres in the rubber match of a three-game series. Price is 5-0 with a 2.06 ERA in his last five starts for the Red Sox, who pulled into a first-place tie with Toronto atop the American League East with Tuesday’s 5-1 victory.
Texas at Seattle 10:10 PM ET
Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre is the new franchise record-holder for most consecutive games scoring a run. Beltre hopes to touch home plate for the 13th consecutive game on Wednesday, when the Rangers attempt to defeat the host Seattle Mariners for the third straight time to start the four-game series.
Arizona at LA Dodgers 10:10 PM ET
The Los Angeles Dodgers attempt to register their fifth consecutive victory as they conclude their three-game series — and a six-game homestand — against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday. Los Angeles has scored at least five runs in each contest during its winning streak, including Tuesday's 5-2 triumph.
