Minnesota at NY Yankees 1:05 PM ET
After snapping a pronounced slump by extending his major league record with his 25th career grand slam, Alex Rodriguez looks to help the New York Yankees complete a three-game sweep of the visiting Minnesota Twins on Wednesday afternoon. Rodriguez was hitless in 18 straight at-bats and just 3-for-39 before launching a towering shot to center field as New York rallied for an 8-4 victory on Tuesday.
Seattle at Texas 2:05 PM ET
Nelson Cruz and the Seattle Mariners have routinely flustered the Texas Rangers this season. Cruz looks to continue that momentum against his former team as the American League West rivals play the rubber match of their three-game series on Wednesday afternoon.
Miami at Milwaukee 2:10 PM ET

The Miami Marlins aim for a season-best fourth consecutive road victory when they wrap up a three-game series at the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday. The Marlins have struggled to a 21-40 road mark but have a chance to complete their first series sweep away from home this season.

LA Dodgers at Oakland 3:35 PM ET
The Los Angeles Dodgers will almost surely be without right fielder Yasiel Puig for Wednesday’s contest against the host Oakland Athletics, and they’re hoping it doesn’t turn into a lengthy absence. Puig, who missed 39 games earlier this season due to a strained left hamstring, will have an MRI exam on Wednesday after leaving Tuesday’s 10-inning, 5-4 loss to the Athletics with tightness in his right hamstring.
Atlanta at San Diego 3:40 PM ET
Melvin Upton Jr. was the recipient of a surprise start following the trade of Will Venable on Tuesday, then promptly unloaded on his former team en route to one of the finest performances of his star-crossed career. Upton, who figures to play regularly in center field for the foreseeable future, will attempt to power the San Diego Padres to a home sweep of the Atlanta Braves as the teams complete their three-game series Wednesday.
NY Mets at Baltimore 7:05 PM ET
The New York Mets look to continue their dominance over the host Baltimore Orioles and complete a sweep of the two-game interleague series Wednesday night at Camden Yards. Curtis Granderson swatted a pair of solo home runs as the Mets eased to a 5-3 victory Tuesday to extend their winning streak against Baltimore to nine games.
Toronto at Philadelphia 7:05 PM ET
The Toronto Blue Jays are busy watching the scoreboard as they battle the New York Yankees for the top of the American League East, but they are taking care of business on the field as well. The Blue Jays will try to wrap up a two-game interleague sweep when they visit the Philadelphia Phillies for the finale on Wednesday.
Arizona at Pittsburgh 7:05 PM ET
Pedro Alvarez certainly has played a significant role in the Pittsburgh Pirates strengthening their hold on the top wild-card spot in the National League. Alvarez looks to continue his hot hand as Pittsburgh vies for its 10th win in 13 outings in the rubber match of the three-game series versus the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday.
Cleveland at Boston 7:10 PM ET
The Boston Red Sox are well into evaluation mode for next season and have to be happy about some of the young players stepping up on offense. Travis Shaw, Mookie Betts, Jackie Bradley Jr. and company will try to lead the Red Sox to a series win when they host the rubber match of the three-game series on Wednesday.
Kansas City at Cincinnati 7:10 PM ET
The Kansas City Royals won’t have a problem keeping up their intensity level over the last six weeks of the regular season if they keep coming back in the ninth inning every night. The Royals will try to earn a two-game interleague sweep of the host Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday after a stunning win in the opener.
San Francisco at St. Louis 7:15 PM ET
The San Francisco Giants are in the midst of 13 consecutive games against National League Central contenders and can take the first series when they visit the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday in the rubber match of a three-game set. The Giants rebounded from a 2-1 series-opening loss with a 2-0 victory Wednesday to improve to 5-1 in their last six games.
Detroit at Chi. Cubs 8:05 PM ET

Coming off their first home loss in three weeks, the Chicago Cubs hope to salvage a split of their two-game interleague series with the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday. The Tigers outlasted the Cubs for a 10-8 victory in the rain-delayed opener, snapping Chicago’s eight-game home winning streak.

Tampa Bay at Houston 8:10 PM ET
The Houston Astros continue to perform like a playoff team, notching a 32nd come-from-behind victory and 12th triumph in their final at-bat Tuesday. Houston looks to build off those heroics when they send All-Star left-hander Dallas Keuchel to the mound against the visiting Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday in the third contest of a four-game set.
Washington at Colorado 8:40 PM ET
The Washington Nationals ended a long slide and aim to remain in close proximity to the National League East-leading New York Mets. Washington seeks to defeat the host Colorado Rockies for the second straight night on Wednesday after posting a 15-6 victory in the series opener to halt a six-game losing streak.
Chi. White Sox at LA Angels 10:05 PM ET
Los Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols has rediscovered his power stroke after going through a 14-game homerless drought. Pujols has gone deep in each of the first two games of the series against the visiting Chicago White Sox and three times in the past four games entering Wednesday's third contest of the four-game set.
