Tampa Bay at NY Yankees 1:05 PM ET
The New York Yankees are not playing like a team that has thrown in the towel on the season while winning five of their last seven games to stay on the outskirts of the American League wild-card race. The Yankees look to improve their chances of a postseason run on Saturday afternoon when they host the last-place Tampa Bay Rays in the middle contest of a three-game set.
Houston at Toronto 1:07 PM ET
The Houston Astros are beginning to find their top form again with four straight victories and look to gain a series win when they visit the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday afternoon. The Astros have collected 59 hits during their winning streak, including 12 on Friday in a 5-3 victory as outfielder Teoscar Hernandez belted a homer and a single in his major league debut.
St. Louis at Chi. Cubs 2:20 PM ET

With 11 straight wins, the Chicago Cubs are running away in the National League Central race, and they’ll try to add another game to their lead over the St. Louis Cardinals when the rivals continue their four-game series Saturday at Wrigley Field. The Cubs have extended the margin to 14 games over the Cardinals by claiming the first two games of the series.

Pittsburgh at LA Dodgers 4:05 PM ET
The Pittsburgh Pirates look to continue their climb to a spot in the postseason when they visit the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday afternoon for the middle contest of their three-game set. Pittsburgh posted its fifth win in seven games Friday, topping Los Angeles 5-1 in the series opener to pull within one game of Miami for the second wild card in the National League.
Atlanta at Washington 7:05 PM ET
The Atlanta Braves lost their first nine games of the season, and the Washington Nationals did the beating in six of those contests. But while the Braves still own the worst record in the majors and the Nationals sit atop the National League East, Atlanta comes into Saturday’s middle contest of a three-game series at Washington with momentum after pounding three homers in Friday’s 8-5 victory.
Colorado at Philadelphia 7:05 PM ET
Ryan Howard has been reduced to a part-time player but he still remains a nemesis for the Colorado Rockies. Howard belted a tiebreaking grand slam Friday night to power the Philadelphia Phillies to a 10-6 victory over visiting Colorado, which will attempt to even the series Saturday night at Citizens Bank Park.
Arizona at Boston 7:10 PM ET
Boston Red Sox veteran Hanley Ramirez silenced any talk of a potential back injury by belting a pair of three-run homers in a series-opening victory over the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks. The 32-year-old Dominican looks to continue the power surge on the heels of his 20th career multi-homer performance as the Red Sox vie for a series victory over the Diamondbacks on Saturday.
Chi. White Sox at Miami 7:10 PM ET
The Miami Marlins need to rediscover their offense if they wish to remain a prominent player in the postseason conversation. Limited to just four runs in the last three outings, Miami looks to find a spark on Saturday as it plays the second contest of its three-game interleague series versus the visiting Chicago White Sox.
LA Angels at Cleveland 7:10 PM ET
The Cleveland Indians have opened their season-high 11-game homestand with an offensive flourish, much to the dismay of the reeling Los Angeles Angels. After erupting for 27 runs on 31 hits to claim the first two contests, Cleveland looks to maintain its dominance of Los Angeles on Saturday when the clubs continue their four-game set at Progressive Field.
Kansas City at Minnesota 7:10 PM ET
The Kansas City Royals are making a frantic dash to get back in the American League wild-card race and seek to win for the sixth time in seven games when they visit the Minnesota Twins on Saturday. Kansas City recorded a 7-3 victory in the opener of the three-game set to improve to 20-38 on the road this season.
Cincinnati at Milwaukee 7:10 PM ET
Judging by wins and losses, Dan Straily appears to be having an average season for the Cincinnati Reds. That's hardly the case for the right-hander, who looks to remain undefeated since the All-Star break when Cincinnati continues a three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers and right-hander Zach Davies, who is unbeaten in his last six outings.
San Diego at NY Mets 7:10 PM ET
If Jacob deGrom was receiving any kind of offensive support from the slumping New York Mets, he could be on the verge of establishing a career high for victories. Instead, deGrom looks to continue his stellar stretch of pitching when he goes for his eighth win Saturday night against the visiting San Diego Padres.
Detroit at Texas 8:05 PM ET
The Texas Rangers seek their seventh win in eight games when they host the Detroit Tigers on Saturday for the middle contest of their three-game set. Texas waited out a lengthy weather delay on Friday and built an early seven-run lead before recording an 8-5 victory.
Baltimore at San Francisco 9:05 PM ET
Madison Bumgarner is winless in five starts since the All-Star break and attempts to get back in the victory column when the San Francisco Giants host the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday. San Francisco has lost all five of Bumgarner's starts during the stretch and is just 8-17 since the break after losing 5-2 to the Orioles in Friday's opener of the three-game set.
Seattle at Oakland 9:05 PM ET
The Seattle Mariners had their season-high six-game winning streak halted in the series opener and aim to get right back on the winning track when they visit the Oakland Athletics on Saturday. The Mariners recorded just four hits in Friday's 6-3 defeat to an Oakland squad that suddenly has won four of its last five games.
