Colorado at NY Mets 12:10 PM ET
The New York Mets vie for a four-game sweep and 10th straight home victory over the Colorado Rockies when the teams reconvene at Citi Field on Thursday afternoon. Pitching continues to be the name of the game for National League East-leading New York, as Matt Harvey tossed eight scintillating innings in a 4-0 triumph on Tuesday before Jacob deGrom struck out 10 over seven frames in a 3-0 victory the following night.
Oakland at Toronto 12:37 PM ET
The first-place Toronto Blue Jays can match their longest winning streak of the season when they go for their 11th consecutive victory and a three-game sweep of the visiting Oakland Athletics on Thursday afternoon. Wednesday's win enabled the Blue Jays to leapfrog the New York Yankees for the American League East lead - the latest they've been in first place in a season since 1993.
Texas at Minnesota 1:10 PM ET
A team meeting is proving to be a turning point for the Minnesota Twins - at least so far. The Twins will try to keep the momentum rolling and pull off a three-game sweep when they host the Texas Rangers in the series finale on Thursday.
Milwaukee at Chi. Cubs 2:20 PM ET

The drama is building on the North Side of Chicago as the Cubs surge toward their first postseason appearance since 2008. Chicago aims for its 13th win in 14 games when it looks to complete a three-game sweep of the visiting Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday.

NY Yankees at Cleveland 7:10 PM ET
The New York Yankees are out of first place in the American League East for the first time since July 1 as they attempt to avert a three-game sweep by the host Cleveland Indians on Thursday. The Yankees led the division by seven games on July 28 but fell a half-game behind the Toronto Blue Jays following Wednesday's 2-1 loss - their fifth consecutive defeat.
Pittsburgh at St. Louis 7:15 PM ET
The St. Louis Cardinals just won’t let another team get close to them in the National League Central Division. The Cardinals will try to make it an eight-game spread and complete a three-game sweep when they host the second-place Pittsburgh Pirates in Thursday's series finale.
LA Angels at Kansas City 8:10 PM ET
The Kansas City Royals look to rebound from a rare loss at Kauffman Stadium when they open a four-game series against the visiting Los Angeles Angels on Thursday. A four-run uprising in the eighth inning Wednesday prevented the American League Central-leading Royals from recording their eighth straight victory at home and sixth consecutive overall.

Cincinnati at LA Dodgers 10:10 PM ET
Los Angeles is lucky to have stoppers such as Zack Greinke and Clayton Kershaw to halt any significant losing streaks and they'll ride the momentum that their Cy Young-caliber pitchers provided into a four-game series with the Cincinnati Reds beginning Thursday at Dodger Stadium. After Greinke halted Los Angeles' season-long four-game losing streak Tuesday, Kershaw came along and retired the first 16 batters in the Dodgers' 3-0 victory Wednesday.
