Cleveland at NY Yankees 1:05 PM ET
Cleveland Indians reliever Andrew Miller told reporters after nailing down his first save against his former team - the New York Yankees - that he was happy he "survived and found a way". Cleveland will try to follow that mantra and put a pleasant ending on what had been a difficult week Sunday when it attempts to take the rubber match of a three-game road set against the Yankees.
NY Mets at Detroit 1:10 PM ET
Jacob deGrom has been one of the few constants for the sliding New York Mets, who will look to their third-year right-hander to avert a three-game sweep at the hands of the host Detroit Tigers on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers have ripped off 10 wins in their last 11 games to remain two back of first-place Cleveland in the American League Central.
Minnesota at Tampa Bay 1:10 PM ET
The Tampa Bay Rays and Minnesota Twins share more than just their lot in the standings as the cellar-dwelling clubs each quietly have won seven of their last 10. The Rays and Twins will look to extend their recent bit of good fortune in an otherwise unlucky season on Sunday afternoon when the American League bottom feeders play the rubber match of their three-game series in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Cincinnati at Pittsburgh 1:35 PM ET
The Pittsburgh Pirates will go for their first series sweep in more than a month when they close out a three-game set against the visiting Cincinnati Reds on Sunday afternoon. Pirates right-hander Gerrit Cole, who has allowed one earned run in each of his last three starts, looks to earn his first win against Cincinnati.
San Francisco at Washington 1:35 PM ET
The San Francisco Giants have yet to win a series since the All-Star break, but they will send ace Madison Bumgarner to the mound Sunday with the hopes of ending that drought in the rubber match of a three-game set at the Washington Nationals. The Giants rolled to a 7-1 victory Saturday to level the series with only their sixth win in 20 games.
Baltimore at Chi. White Sox 2:10 PM ET
The Baltimore Orioles are clinging to a percentage-point lead atop the American League East despite losing seven of their last 11 contests. The Orioles look to shake their recent woes and secure their first road series victory in three weeks on Sunday when they play rubber match of the three-game set versus the host Chicago White Sox.
Texas at Houston 2:10 PM ET
The Texas Rangers made a series of moves at the trade deadline, in part to give themselves a better chance of holding off the Houston Astros in the American League West, and so far, those moves are paying off. The Rangers will try to ride the hot bats of Carlos Beltran and Jonathan Lucroy to a series win when they visit the Astros for the rubber match of their three-game set.
Toronto at Kansas City 2:15 PM ET
Devon Travis has embraced the month of August with both arms and, in the process, has put the squeeze on the Kansas City Royals. The 25-year-old looks to continue his torrid display at the plate on Sunday afternoon as the visiting Toronto Blue Jays attempt to win the rubber match of the three-game series versus Kansas City.
Atlanta at St. Louis 2:15 PM ET
The Atlanta Braves own the worst record in baseball, but you wouldn’t notice with the way they’ve been playing of late. The Braves will try to secure their fourth straight non-losing series when they visit the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday for the rubber match of their three-game set.
Chi. Cubs at Oakland 4:05 PM ET

The Chicago Cubs will try to finish off their second consecutive series sweep and run their winning streak to seven games when they face the host Oakland Athletics in the finale of a three-game series Sunday. The Cubs have outscored the Athletics 11-2 in the first two games of the series, including a 4-0 victory Saturday.

LA Angels at Seattle 4:10 PM ET
The bottom of the batting order has stepped up in a big way for the Seattle Mariners this weekend, with Mike Zunino and Shawn O'Malley playing starring roles instead of Robinson Cano or Nelson Cruz. The Mariners look to continue their recent winning ways Sunday when they eye a three-game home sweep of the Los Angeles Angels.
Milwaukee at Arizona 4:10 PM ET
The Arizona Diamondbacks seek their first series win since mid-July when they host the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday for the finale of their three-game set. The Diamondbacks have lost five straight series since taking two of three from the Los Angeles Dodgers at home right after the All-Star break and failed in their first attempt at winning this set as they were pounded 15-6 on Saturday after capturing the opener.
Miami at Colorado 4:10 PM ET
The Colorado Rockies aim to get back above .500 and claim another series win when they wrap up a three-game set with the visiting Miami Marlins on Sunday. A seven-run sixth inning propelled the Rockies to a 12-6 victory on Saturday, leaving them a rubber-game win away from taking a fifth consecutive series.
Philadelphia at San Diego 4:40 PM ET
San Diego aims for its first back-to-back wins in nearly a month on Sunday as the Padres face the visiting Philadelphia Phillies in the rubber match of a three-game series. The Padres, who collected 14 hits in Saturday's 9-7 victory, have not won consecutive games since coming out of the All-Star break with a three-game sweep of San Francisco on July 15-17.
Boston at LA Dodgers 7:10 PM ET
The Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox are fighting for the top spot in their respective divisions and are trading shutouts with each other this weekend. The Red Sox will try to end their 11-game road trip with a winning record when they visit the Dodgers for the rubber match of their three-game series on Sunday.
