It took the longest game in the majors this season for the Cleveland Indians to set a record for the longest winning streak in franchise history. The Indians have won 14 consecutive games following Friday's 2-1 victory in 19 innings and will look to make it three straight against the host Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday afternoon.

After being victimized by a pair of walk-off losses at Yankee Stadium, the Texas Rangers rebounded with a little late-inning magic of their own. Cameron Maybin is off to the best start in his career and the Detroit Tigers’ center fielder has been especially productive against the Tampa Bay Rays, going 13-for-19 with 10 RBIs. Maybin looks to extend his hitting streak to eight contests and lead the Tigers to their fifth consecutive victory when they visit the Rays on Saturday afternoon in the third of a four-game set.

The San Diego Padres will try to maintain an impressive offensive streak at home when they continue a three-game interleague series with the New York Yankees on Saturday. Following a 7-6 victory in the series opener, the Padres have posted at least five runs in eight straight games at Petco Park.
