Philadelphia at NY Yankees 7:05 PM ET
The New York Yankees attempt to shake off a lopsided loss when they host the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday in the opener of their three-game interleague series. New York had its four-game winning streak snapped in emphatic fashion Sunday, dropping a 12-4 home decision to Detroit as three pitchers combined to serve up five home runs.
Detroit at Cleveland 7:10 PM ET
When faced with the prospect of dipping below .500 for the first time in over two years, Detroit put on an impressive offensive display. The Tigers will try to carry the momentum of a rout at Yankee Stadium into the opener of a three-game series in Cleveland on Monday.
Toronto at Tampa Bay 7:10 PM ET
The Tampa Bay Rays look to continue their mastery of the offensively gifted Toronto Blue Jays when they host the opener of a three-game series on Monday. The Rays, who lead the American League in ERA (3.28), have won six of seven against the major league’s top-scoring team in 2015 while holding the Blue Jays to two runs or fewer five times.
LA Dodgers at Chi. Cubs 8:05 PM ET
The Chicago Cubs seek their first three-game winning streak in more than a month when they host the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday in the opener of a four-game series. Chicago, which has won three consecutive contests since capturing six in a row from May 11-16, made it two straight on Sunday with an 8-0 triumph at Minnesota.
Chi. White Sox at Minnesota 8:10 PM ET
The Minnesota Twins look to end a dismal stretch when they open a three-game series against the visiting Chicago White Sox on Monday. Minnesota was routed 8-0 by the Chicago Cubs on Sunday and has dropped 11 of its last 16 contests since being 11 games above .500 on June 4.
Houston at LA Angels 10:05 PM ET
George Springer has been tearing the cover off the baseball of late and looks to extend his hitting streak to 15 games when the Houston Astros open a three-game series against the host Los Angeles Angels on Monday. Springer homered among three hits in Sunday's 6-2 victory over Seattle and is 27-for-59 during his tear.
Kansas City at Seattle 10:10 PM ET
Felix Hernandez attempts to become the American League's first 11-game winner when the Seattle Mariners open a three-game series against the visiting Kansas City Royals on Monday. Hernandez has won at least 15 games only twice in his stellar career but has a solid chance to surpass that mark and perhaps match - or eclipse - his career-high 19 victories from 2009.
