The Baltimore Orioles had their season-high six-game winning streak halted Sunday, but they have a chance to go on another roll when they host the major league-worst Philadelphia Phillies on Monday. It's the opener of a four-game, home-and-home set for the Orioles, who scored 39 runs during their six-game tear before dropping the series finale against the New York Yankees.

The Pittsburgh Pirates are a season-high eight games over .500 as they prepare to host the Chicago White Sox on Monday night in a four-game, home-and-home interleague series. The Pirates are riding a four-game winning streak following a sweep of Philadelphia that featured three one-run victories, including a pair of shutouts in extra innings.

The first-place Houston Astros try to continue steadying the ship when they host the Colorado Rockies on Monday as the teams begin a set of four games - two in Houston and two in Denver. The Astros, whose lead in the American League West over Texas is down to 2 1/2 games, bounced back from a seven-game losing streak by taking two of three from Seattle over the weekend - outscoring the Mariners 23-8 - despite All-Star Jose Altuve (hamstring) missing the final two contests.

The Kansas City Royals have scored two runs or fewer in 12 of their last 17 games and look to emerge from their offensive slumber when they open four consecutive games against the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday. The first two contests will be in Milwaukee before the scene shifts to Kansas City.

The St. Louis Cardinals already own the best record in baseball as they prepare to open a four-game, home-and-home series against the visiting Minnesota Twins on Monday. The Cardinals have won three straight, including a pair of matchups against American League Central-leading Kansas City, before rain postponed Sunday's series finale.

Jesse Hahn toes the rubber against his former team when he leads the Oakland Athletics into the opener of a four-game, home-and-home interleague set against the Padres that begins in San Diego on Monday. The 25-year-old Hahn was one of the key figures in a trade between the teams in December that sent All-Star catcher Derek Norris to the Padres.
Seattle at San Francisco 10:15 PM ET
The Seattle Mariners are playing in San Francisco for the first time in 15 years when they meet the Giants on Monday for the first of two games in the Bay Area. Seattle's visit in 2000 came during San Francisco's first season playing in AT&T Park.
