Washington at NY Yankees 1:05 PM ET
The New York Yankees aim for their third straight series sweep and their longest winning streak in nearly three years when they finish a two-game set against Washington at home on Wednesday afternoon. St. Louis at Colorado 3:10 PM ET
The Colorado Rockies look to complete a sweep Wednesday afternoon when they wrap up their 10-game homestand with the finale of a three-game set against the St. Louis Cardinals. After romping to victory in the opener, Colorado edged St. Louis 4-3 on Tuesday to clinch its first series win in 10 tries at home this season (1-5-4).
Boston at Baltimore 7:05 PM ET
The Boston Red Sox absorbed quite the blow in addition to being shut out for the fifth time this season in their series-opening setback against the host Baltimore Orioles. With Hanley Ramirez's availability in doubt, the Red Sox look to dust themselves off when they continue their three-game series at their American League East rival on Wednesday.
Milwaukee at Pittsburgh 7:05 PM ET
The Milwaukee Brewers have won back-to-back series for the first time this season and look to complete their first sweep when they visit the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday. The Brewers, who were swept in Pittsburgh in April, have limited the Pirates to one run in the first two games of the series to improve to 4-1 over their last five contests.
Chi. Cubs at Detroit 7:08 PM ET

The Detroit Tigers aim for a fourth consecutive victory when they try to wrap up a quick two-game sweep of the visiting Chicago Cubs on Wednesday. The Tigers breezed to a 6-0 victory in the series opener and have outscored their opponents 19-5 in three games since ending an eight-game losing streak.

Seattle at Cleveland 7:10 PM ET
Jason Kipnis looks to extend his home hitting streak to a franchise-best 20 contests when the Cleveland Indians continue their three-game set against the visiting Seattle Mariners on Wednesday. Kipnis went 1-for-5 on Tuesday to match Michael Brantley's club-high 19-game stretch in 2014, but Cleveland dropped a 3-2 decision in the series opener.
LA Angels at Tampa Bay 7:10 PM ET
Albert Pujols is in the midst of a power surge that ranks among the best of his career with eight home runs over the last 11 contests. The slugger tied Mickey Mantle for 16th place on the all-time list with 536 blasts in the series opener and looks to move past the Hall-of-Famer when his Los Angeles Angels visit the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday for the middle contest of their three-game set.
San Diego at Atlanta 7:10 PM ET
If the Atlanta Braves’ bullpen pitches the way it did Tuesday, they just might stick around in the National League East race. Atlanta hosts the San Diego Padres on Wednesday after rallying from a 5-0 deficit – thanks to 3 1/3 shutout innings from its beleaguered relief corps – to win 6-5 and move within 2 1/2 games of first-place New York in the East standings.
San Francisco at NY Mets 7:10 PM ET
Although rookie Chris Heston's masterful no-hit performance rightly garnered front-page headlines, Joe Panik pieced together quite the story of his own in the opener of the three-game series versus the New York Mets. Panik, a New York native who played collegiately at St. John's, looks to extend his hitting streak to 14 games as the visiting San Francisco Giants and Mets reconvene at Citi Field on Wednesday.
Houston at Chi. White Sox 8:10 PM ET
The Chicago White Sox attempt to complete their second sweep of the season when they host the American League West-leading Houston Astros on Wednesday. After beginning the three-game series with a 3-1 victory, Chicago posted a 4-2 triumph on Tuesday to put itself in position for its first sweep since taking three games in Oakland from May 15-17.
Kansas City at Minnesota 8:10 PM ET
Their offense is still stuck in the mud, but the Kansas City Royals are riding a three-game winning streak and can finish off their first three-game sweep in two months in Wednesday night's series finale against the host Minnesota Twins. The Royals have limited the Twins to one run in two games to move a game ahead of Minnesota atop the American League Central.
Texas at Oakland 10:05 PM ET
The red-hot Texas Rangers continue their surge toward the American League West lead and try to clinch their seventh consecutive series victory when they visit the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday in the middle contest of their three-game series. Texas improved to 8-2 in its last 10 contests and moved within two games of first-place Houston after prevailing 2-1 on Tuesday as Mitch Moreland continued his productive road trip.
Arizona at LA Dodgers 10:10 PM ET
Following Wednesday’s series finale against the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Arizona Diamondbacks don’t return to Dodger Stadium again until Sept. 21. That’s welcome news for the Diamondbacks, who have lost eight straight games and 12 of their last 13 at Chavez Ravine.
