Arizona at Pittsburgh 12:35 PM ET
Having averted a season-long losing streak, the Arizona Diamondbacks look to remain unbeaten in seven straight series when they wrap up a three-game set against the host Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday afternoon. The Diamondbacks, who are 3-0-3 in their last six series, halted a three-game losing streak with a 3-0 victory Tuesday night.
Cincinnati at Toronto 12:37 PM ET
The Cincinnati Reds entered their interleague series at the Rogers Centre on a bit of a power binge, but through two games north of the border, it has been the Toronto Blue Jays flexing their muscle. The Blue Jays go for their eighth win in the last nine games Wednesday when they eye a three-game sweep of the Reds.
Philadelphia at Miami 1:10 PM ET
A forgettable month of May appears to be ending on a high note for the Miami Marlins, but the same cannot be said for the Philadelphia Phillies. The Marlins have won consecutive series for the first time this season and look to notch their fifth victory in the last six outings Wednesday when they aim for their first three-game sweep of the Phillies in nearly five years.
Houston at Minnesota 1:10 PM ET
The Houston Astros continue to soar as the top team in the majors and seek their seventh consecutive victory when they conclude their three-game series against the host Minnesota Twins on Wednesday afternoon. The Astros racked up 23 runs and 28 hits while winning the first two games of the set after posting a 7-2 victory on Tuesday.
Chi. Cubs at San Diego 3:40 PM ET
The San Diego Padres attempt to extend their winning streak to a season-high four games when they host the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday afternoon for the finale of their three-game series. San Diego has won three straight for the third time this year after recording a 6-2 victory on Tuesday.
Oakland at Cleveland 6:10 PM ET
The Cleveland Indians have answered a three-game losing streak by winning three in a row, fueled by a surging offense that has produced 24 runs and 38 hits. Sitting in a tie with Minnesota atop the American League Central, the Indians look to make it four consecutive wins overall and three straight over the visiting Oakland Athletics on Wednesday.
NY Yankees at Baltimore 7:05 PM ET
The New York Yankees have to hope that the good version of Masahiro Tanaka shows up Wednesday in the rubber match of a three-game series at the Baltimore Orioles. Tanaka already has three starts in which he has given up at least six runs in three innings or fewer, including back-to-back outings earlier this month when he served up a total of seven home runs.
Milwaukee at NY Mets 7:10 PM ET
Right-hander Jacob deGrom will look to extend his unbeaten string to seven starts when the New York Mets continue their four-game series against the visiting Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday night. New York has won three in a row and four of five after squeezing out a 5-4 victory in 12 innings on Jay Bruce's walk-off single Tuesday night.
Tampa Bay at Texas 8:05 PM ET
The Tampa Bay Rays need a big performance from Chris Archer when they visit the Texas Rangers on Wednesday for the rubber match of their three-game series. The Rays have been forced to go to the bullpen heavily over the last three days and could use a lengthy effort from Archer, who needs four strikeouts to pass David Price (54, June 2014) for the most during one month in franchise history.
Boston at Chi. White Sox 8:10 PM ET
The Boston Red Sox responded well to the loss of second baseman Dustin Pedroia and seek their third straight series win when they finish a three-game set at the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday. Pedroia was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a sprained wrist hours before the Red Sox went out and evened the set with a 13-7 triumph.
Detroit at Kansas City 8:15 PM ET
The Kansas City Royals are trying to climb out of the cellar in the American League Central and can get a little closer to accomplishing that when they host the struggling Detroit Tigers in the rubber match of their three-game series on Wednesday. The Royals blanked the Tigers 1-0 on Tuesday to even the set and pull within 1 ½ games of passing them for fourth place in the division.
LA Dodgers at St. Louis 8:15 PM ET

The surging Los Angeles Dodgers are back atop the National League West, and they’ll aim for a seventh straight victory when they take on the host St. Louis Cardinals in the third of a four-game series Wednesday. The Dodgers won 11 of their last 13 contests and have scored 39 runs during a six-game winning streak.

Atlanta at LA Angels 10:07 PM ET
Albert Pujols looks to join an elite club when his Los Angeles Angels host the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday for the rubber match of their three-game interleague series. Pujols went deep in each of the first two contests of the set to climb within one blast of becoming the ninth player in major-league history to hit 600 home runs.
Colorado at Seattle 10:10 PM ET
Seattle left-hander James Paxton returns to the mound for the first time after a four-plus week injury absence when the Seattle Mariners host the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday. Paxton posted a stellar 1.43 ERA in six starts prior to suffering a forearm strain and will attempt to pitch the Mariners to their fourth consecutive victory.
Washington at San Francisco 10:15 PM ET
Bryce Harper appealed the suspension for his role in Monday's brawl and will be in the lineup when the Washington Nationals wrap up their three-game series against the host San Francisco Giants on Wednesday. Harper drew a four-game ban for charging the mound after being plunked by Giants reliever Hunter Strickland, who received a six-game suspension for his actions.
