Kansas City at NY Yankees 7:05 PM ET
The New York Yankees flexed their muscle in order to ignite their sputtering offense while the reigning world-champion Kansas City Royals continue to spiral out of control. After belting five solo homers in the opener, New York vies its fourth win in five contests on Tuesday as it continues a four-game series versus visiting Kansas City.
Oakland at Boston 7:10 PM ET
Jackie Bradley Jr. may have earned himself a place in Boston’s future with an incredible hot streak last season and looks like he’s at it again this month. Bradley will try to push his career-best hitting streak to 16 consecutive games when the Red Sox host the Oakland Athletics in the second of a three-game series on Tuesday.
Philadelphia at Atlanta 7:10 PM ET
The Atlanta Braves (7-23) have the worst record in baseball - not a big surprise as they are in the middle of a major rebuilding process, but the worst start in franchise history comes with a eye-popping 1-15 record at Turner Field. Atlanta, which has lost four straight overall and 10 in a row at home, continues its six-game homestand with three beginning Tuesday against the surprisingly good Philadelphia Phillies.
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati 7:10 PM ET
The Cincinnati Reds finally got a strong performance from their bullpen and ended up with a 3-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday. The bullpen will try to put together back-to-back solid games when the Reds host the Pirates in the second of a three-game series on Tuesday.
Milwaukee at Miami 7:10 PM ET
The Miami Marlins may have been a tad overzealous on the bases, but they regained their footing by claiming the opener of a three-game series versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Miami vies for its 13th win in 16 outings overall and fourth in five contests versus Milwaukee this season on Tuesday when the set continues at Marlins Park.
Chi. White Sox at Texas 8:05 PM ET
Todd Frazier has emphatically put an 0-for-19 slump in his rear-view mirror, belting three homers among his six hits in the last three contests. The 2015 Home Run Derby champion looks to continue his power surge on Tuesday as the Chicago White Sox aim to extend their dominance over the host Texas Rangers when the teams play the second contest of their three-game set.
San Diego at Chi. Cubs 8:05 PM ET
After rain washed out Monday's scheduled contest, the Chicago Cubs will try to extend their seven-game winning streak when they begin a three-game series with the visiting San Diego Padres on Tuesday. The red-hot Cubs, who likely are still buzzing from Sunday's 13-inning victory to cap a four-game sweep of Washington, are off to their best 30-game start (24-6) since the 1907 World Series champs opened with the same record.
Baltimore at Minnesota 8:10 PM ET
Joe Mauer will bat in the leadoff spot for the first time in his career when the slumping Minnesota Twins host the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday. Twins manager Paul Molitor is attempting to shake up his struggling club and wrote down Mauer's name atop the lineup for Monday's game, but the contest was postponed due to rain.
Cleveland at Houston 8:10 PM ET
The Houston Astros shoot for their first three-game winning streak of the season as they continue their three-game series against the visiting Cleveland Indians on Tuesday. The Astros opened the set with a 7-1 triumph on Monday, giving them back-to-back victories for the second time this month after failing to accomplish the feat in April.
Arizona at Colorado 8:40 PM ET
The Arizona Diamondbacks look to match their longest winning streak of the season when they visit the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday for the middle contest of their three-game set. Arizona topped Colorado 10-5 in the series opener for its fourth straight victory - one shy of the five-game run it posted from April 17-21.
St. Louis at LA Angels 10:05 PM ET
The Los Angeles Angels can't absorb many more injuries if they are to continue entertaining thoughts of winning the American League West title as they resume their six-game homestand with three versus the St. Louis Cardinals beginning Tuesday. Los Angeles shortstop Andrelton Simmons left Sunday's game - a 3-1 loss to Tampa Bay that completed a sweep - with a thumb injury that requires surgery as he joins ace Garrett Richards and closer Huston Street on the disabled list.
Tampa Bay at Seattle 10:10 PM ET
Second baseman Robinson Cano has been carrying the Seattle offense but it was his double-play partner that delivered the damage in Monday's series-opening contest against the Tampa Bay Rays. Shortstop Ketel Marte had a career-best four hits, including a tiebreaking three-run homer, in a 5-2 victory and the Mariners will look to post their 15th win in 20 games when they host the Rays again Tuesday.
NY Mets at LA Dodgers 10:10 PM ET
The New York Mets ousted the Los Angeles Dodgers from the playoffs last season and posted another victory in their initial meeting of this campaign. New York registered a 4-2 victory in the series opener and aims to record another win when they visit the Dodgers on Tuesday.
Toronto at San Francisco 10:15 PM ET
Interleague play might not be the instant elixir for San Francisco Giants’ struggling offense, after all. The Giants, who have scored a total of three runs over their last three contests, continue their three-game series against the visiting Toronto Blue Jays hoping to get untracked after recording four hits in Monday's 3-1 loss.
