The Miami Marlins will attempt to win their fifth consecutive series when they visit the Washington Nationals on Wednesday for the rubber match of a three-game set. The Marlins rebounded after coughing up a lead in the first game to edge the Nationals 2-1 on Tuesday for their 10th victory in the last 13 contests as future Hall of Famer Ichuro Suzuki recorded a pair of hits and an RBI.
Arizona at Colorado 3:10 PM ET
The Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies have been getting no help from the weatherman and will attempt to play a doubleheader Wednesday after back-to-back rainouts in Denver. Single contests were postponed Monday and Tuesday and rain again is in the forecast as the teams struggle to deal with the break in their routines.
San Diego at San Francisco 3:45 PM ET
The San Diego Padres were the worst offensive team in the majors last season, and things haven’t looked much better this week. The Padres bring a 20-inning scoreless streak into Wednesday’s matchup against the visiting San Francisco Giants, who have won 11 of their last 15 games to move into second place in the National League West.

The Reds moved to 4-0 against the Pirates this season with a 7-1 win on Tuesday as Frazier blasted his National League-best ninth home run — his seventh in his last 12 games against Pittsburgh.

NY Yankees at Toronto 7:07 PM ET
The Toronto Blue Jays have a chance to earn a series win over the visiting New York Yankees on Wednesday, but they will need a rare effort from Mark Buehrle. The veteran left-hander will be looking for just the second win of his career against the Yankees in the rubber match of the three-game series.
Baltimore at NY Mets 7:10 PM ET
The New York Mets have dropped three straight series since matching a franchise record with an 11-game winning streak, but they look to complete a two-game interleague sweep of the visiting Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday. New York bounced back from consecutive 1-0 defeats with a 3-2 victory in Tuesday's series opener to top the Orioles for the seventh straight time.
Tampa Bay at Boston 7:10 PM ET
The Boston Red Sox have a chance to put a happy ending on an otherwise terrible homestand when they host the Tampa Bay Rays in the finale of a three-game series on Wednesday. The Red Sox snapped a four-game slide with a 2-0 victory on Tuesday and improved to 3-5 on the nine-game homestand.
Philadelphia at Atlanta 7:10 PM ET
The Atlanta Braves attempt to finish .500 on their 10-game homestand when the square off with the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday in the finale of a three-game set. The Braves evened the set with a 9-0 victory on Tuesday behind Shelby Miller's complete-game three-hitter - their second shutout win in the past three games.
Detroit at Chi. White Sox 8:10 PM ET
Having finally put an end to an ugly five-game losing streak, the Chicago White Sox look to post wins on back-to-back days for the first time since April 11-12 when they host the Detroit Tigers in the second of a three-game set. The White Sox took the series opener 5-2 to halt a skid that saw them outscored 39-10 in five road games.
Cleveland at Kansas City 8:10 PM ET
Eric Hosmer looks for an encore after his most productive night of the season when his Kansas City Royals host the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday in the second contest of a three-game set. Hosmer homered and knocked in four runs in the 5-3 victory Tuesday to raise his batting average to .320 after going 12-for-33 with nine RBIs in his last eight contests.
Texas at Houston 8:10 PM ET
With their 10-game winning streak now just a memory, the Houston Astros look to salvage the finale of their three-game series against the visiting Texas Rangers on Wednesday. Houston entered the set two victories shy of tying the franchise record for consecutive triumphs but has come up flat, scoring just one run in each of the first two contests.

The Minnesota Twins look to begin another winning streak when they host the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday for the third contest of their four-game series. Minnesota edged Oakland in the opener for its fifth consecutive victory before the Athletics returned the favor with a 2-1 triumph on Tuesday.

The Los Angeles Dodgers look to win for the ninth time in 12 games Wednesday, when they visit the Milwaukee Brewers for the third contest of their four-game series. The Dodgers rebounded from Monday's 4-3 defeat by rolling to an 8-2 triumph on Tuesday as Justin Turner went 3-for-4 with four RBIs.
Chi. Cubs at St. Louis 8:15 PM ET

If the Chicago Cubs are going to contend in the National League Central, they'll have to play better against the St. Louis Cardinals. The division-leading Cardinals aim for their third consecutive victory over their rivals when the teams continue their four-game series Wednesday in St. Louis.

Seattle at LA Angels 10:05 PM ET
Carlos Perez enjoyed a smashing major-league debut and is expected to be in the lineup once again when the Los Angeles Angels close a three-game set against the visiting Seattle Mariners on Wednesday. Perez led off the bottom of the ninth with a game-winning homer Tuesday to give the Angels a 5-4 victory to even the series at a game apiece.
