Cincinnati at Pittsburgh 7:05 PM ET
The Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday try to continue their recent mastery of the Pirates when they visit Pittsburgh for a three-game series. Cincinnati, which began its 10-game road trip by splitting four contests in Atlanta, swept a season-opening three-game set against the Pirates after defeating Pittsburgh in the final two regular-season games of 2014.
Miami at Washington 7:05 PM ET
Yunel Escobar had one of the best games of his career in the opener and strives to come through again Tuesday when the Washington Nationals host the Miami Marlins. Escobar recorded a career-high five hits as the Nationals posted a 6-4 win over the Marlins on Monday for their sixth win in seven games.
NY Yankees at Toronto 7:07 PM ET
The Toronto Blue Jays returned home after a 3-7 road trip and rediscovered the pitching that had abandoned them during their travels. The Blue Jays eye back-to-back victories for the first since a three-game home sweep of Baltimore from April 21-23 on Tuesday when they continue their three-game set against the New York Yankees.
Baltimore at NY Mets 7:10 PM ET
The New York Mets need to find a way to get their offense untracked as they prepare to host the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday in the opener of a two-game interleague set. New York is coming off back-to-back 1-0 home losses to the Washington Nationals to tumble to 3-7 since tying a franchise record with an 11-game winning streak.
Tampa Bay at Boston 7:10 PM ET
The Boston Red Sox looked as though they could be a front-runner in the American League East after winning nine of their first 14 games this season. The Red Sox have stumbled their way to only three wins in 12 games since, though, and look to start turning things around when they host the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday in the second of a three-game set.
Philadelphia at Atlanta 7:10 PM ET
The road has been far from kind for the Philadelphia Phillies, but they have enjoyed their recent visits to Atlanta. The Phillies look to win just their third road series in the past 16 when they play at the Atlanta Braves in Tuesday’s second game of a three-game series, after Philadelphia won for the seventh time in its past 10 games at Atlanta with Monday’s 5-2 victory.
Detroit at Chi. White Sox 8:10 PM ET
The Detroit Tigers are back atop the American League Central as they continue their 10-game road trip on Tuesday with a three-game set against the skidding Chicago White Sox. The Tigers took the final two games in Kansas City over the weekend to salvage a four-game series split and move one-half game ahead of the Royals atop the division.
Cleveland at Kansas City 8:10 PM ET
The Cleveland Indians look to build off an inspiring comeback when they visit the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday to begin a three-game series between American League Central rivals. The Indians battled from five runs down to beat the Toronto Blue Jays 10-7 on Sunday for their third victory in five games - after a 6-13 start - and have scored 31 times in that span.
Texas at Houston 8:10 PM ET
After watching their winning streak come to an end due to their inability to hold a late lead, the Houston Astros hope to even their three-game series against the visiting Texas Rangers at one win apiece when the American League West rivals square off on Tuesday. Houston entered the opener having won 10 games in a row and grabbed an early lead on Monday before squandering it in the eighth inning en route to a 2-1 setback.
Oakland at Minnesota 8:10 PM ET
The Minnesota Twins attempt to extend their winning streak to six games when they host the Oakland Athletics in the second contest of their four-game series. After sweeping a four-game set against the Chicago White Sox over the weekend, Minnesota posted a pair of four-run innings after surrendering one en route to an 8-7 triumph in Monday's series opener.
LA Dodgers at Milwaukee 8:10 PM ET
The Milwaukee Brewers fired manager Ron Roenicke on Sunday after they earned their first back-to-back wins of the season, but the move didn’t stop the worst team in the majors from posting a rare comeback victory. The host Brewers attempt to win four in a row for the first time since mid-August on Tuesday, when they continue their four-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Chi. Cubs at St. Louis 8:15 PM ET
Off to their best start since 1900, the St. Louis Cardinals continue to remind the Chicago Cubs what it takes to dominate the National League Central. The Cardinals (19-6) have won seven straight games, including the opener of this four-game home series, and look to ride that momentum in Tuesday's contest.
Arizona at Colorado 8:40 PM ET
Paul Goldschmidt looks to continue his hot streak when his Arizona Diamondbacks begin a rain-shortened two-game series against the host Colorado Rockies on Tuesday. Goldschmidt, who went 9-for-14 as Arizona won two of three games against the Rockies at home last week, had six more hits over the weekend against the Los Angeles Dodgers to be named National League Player of the Week.
Seattle at LA Angels 10:05 PM ET
Nelson Cruz continues to conduct an early-season power show and he seeks to help the Seattle Mariners defeat the host Los Angeles Angels for the second straight night Tuesday. Cruz smashed his major-league leading 14th homer of the season as Seattle won Monday’s series opener 3-2 to halt a four-game losing streak.
San Diego at San Francisco 10:15 PM ET
San Francisco third baseman Casey McGehee might receive a day off Tuesday against the San Diego Padres as the Giants look to extend their home winning streak to eight games. Giants manager Bruce Bochy indicated a desire to help McGehee “catch his breath” after the veteran saw his average dip to .181 in Monday’s series-opening 2-0 victory.
