Preview Roundups
April 20, 2015
Baltimore at Boston 11:05 AM ET
The Boston Red Sox are enduring their first losing streak of the young season as the offense struggles to keep up with the failures of the starting pitchers. The Red Sox will try to avoid their first three-game slide and first series loss when they host the Baltimore Orioles on Monday in the annual Patriots Day game at Fenway Park.
Chi. Cubs at Pittsburgh 7:05 PM ET

The Pittsburgh Pirates seem to have turned around their slow start, and they'll try to keep going in the right direction when they open a four-game series against the visiting Chicago Cubs on Monday. The Pirates are coming off a three-game sweep of Milwaukee, while the Cubs suffered their first series defeat of the season, dropping two of three to San Diego.

NY Yankees at Detroit 7:08 PM ET
The New York Yankees found their offensive rhythm to record a sweep over the weekend, but their bats will be put to the test when the club opens a four-game series against the host Detroit Tigers on Monday. The Yankees outscored Tampa Bay 19-6 in their three-game series to even their season mark after 12 games, while the Tigers breezed to 9-1 rout of the Chicago White Sox on Sunday to take two of three from their AL Central rival.
Cincinnati at Milwaukee 7:20 PM ET
The Cincinnati Reds and Milwaukee Brewers both look to end losing streaks when the National League Central rivals begin their four-game series at Miller Park on Monday. Cincinnati suffered its fourth consecutive defeat Sunday, dropping a 2-1 decision at St. Louis thanks to a tiebreaking sacrifice fly by Kolten Wong in the eighth inning.
Cleveland at Chi. White Sox 8:10 PM ET
The Cleveland Indians have shuffled their rotation in advance of the opener of their three-game series at the Chicago White Sox on Monday. Carlos Carrasco originally was scheduled to start the opener for the Indians but was pushed back a day in order to get more rest after being hit in the face with a line drive last Tuesday at home against Chicago.
Minnesota at Kansas City 8:10 PM ET
The Kansas City Royals will have revenge on their minds when they host the Minnesota Twins in the opener of their three-game series Monday. Kansas City burst out of the gate this season, winning its first seven games - including a 12-3 romp in the first of a three-game set at Minnesota last week.
San Diego at Colorado 8:40 PM ET
The San Diego Padres have won three straight series and look to extend that run when they visit the Colorado Rockies on Monday for the opener of a four-game set. The Padres knocked off San Francisco and Arizona before beating the Chicago Cubs two games to one after a 5-2 triumph Sunday, and have produced 44 runs in the past eight contests with their new lineup.
Oakland at LA Angels 10:05 PM ET
Both Oakland and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim will be looking to rebound from difficult weekends when they meet for the first time this season Monday in Southern California. The Athletics lost two of three at Kansas City following a 4-2 loss Sunday in which they gave up three runs in the bottom of the eighth.
Houston at Seattle 10:10 PM ET
The Houston Astros reside in first place in the American League West and will have to slow down red-hot Nelson Cruz to stay there as they begin a three-game road series against the Seattle Mariners on Monday. Cruz hit two more homers and drove in five runs as the Mariners rallied for an 11-10 victory over the Texas Rangers on Sunday and has smacked eight homers during an eight-game hitting streak.
