Toronto at Tampa Bay 1:10 PM ET
Less than 24 hours after recording their first win of the season on a unique game-ending interference call, the Tampa Bay Rays vie for a split of their season-opening four-game series when they host the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday afternoon. Logan Forsythe belted a go-ahead, two-run homer in the eighth inning and had his leg taken out by Jose Bautista in the ninth on a double-play attempt, which was confirmed during video review to seal a 3-2 victory.
San Francisco at Milwaukee 1:40 PM ET
Right-hander Jeff Samardzija will look to follow in the footsteps of fellow offseason acquisitions Denard Span and Johnny Cueto on Wednesday afternoon as the San Francisco Giants vie for a three-game season-opening sweep of the host Milwaukee Brewers. Signed to a five-year, $90 million deal in December, Samardzija saw Span belt a home run and drive in five runs in Monday's 12-3 romp of Milwaukee before Cueto tossed seven solid innings the following night in a 2-1 triumph.
Seattle at Texas 2:05 PM ET
After becoming the first team in more than 100 years to allow one hit and lose on Opening Day, the Seattle Mariners ensured there would be no repeat with a four-homer, 10-run barrage on Tuesday. Buoyed by the offensive onslaught, the Mariners go for a series win in Wednesday's rubber match against the host Texas Rangers.

Colorado at Arizona 3:40 PM ET
Rookie Trevor Story quickly is becoming one for the Colorado Rockies, who visit the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday afternoon for the rubber match of their season-opening three-game series. Story became the first player in history to hit two home runs in his major-league debut on Opening Day and joined Joe Cunningham (1954) as the only players since 1900 to belt three shots in his first two career games by going deep in Tuesday's 11-6 loss.
Detroit at Miami 4:55 PM ET
After seeing their comeback bid fall short in the season opener, the Miami Marlins will rally around their ace's perfect home mark on Wednesday as they conclude their two-game interleague series against the Detroit Tigers. Right-hander Jose Fernandez has posted a modern major-league record of 17-0 at Marlins Park with a slim 1.40 ERA in 26 starts during his first three campaigns.
Boston at Cleveland 6:10 PM ET
Everything went according to script for the Boston Red Sox on the first day of the regular season and now they just need to figure out how to stretch it over the next 161 games. The Red Sox will try to improve to 2-0 when they visit the Cleveland Indians for the second of a three-game series on Wednesday.
Minnesota at Baltimore 7:05 PM ET
The Minnesota Twins and the Baltimore Orioles are hoping for a little bit better from the weather and the bats when they play the second of a three-game, season-opening series at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Wednesday. Monday’s season opener suffered through two rain delays totaling 171 minutes before Matt Wieters’ walk-off single gave Baltimore a 3-2 victory.
Houston at NY Yankees 7:05 PM ET
The New York Yankees will try once again to solve Houston Astros pitching when the teams continue a three-game series at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday. The Yankees dropped a 5-3 decision in Tuesday's home opener, their fourth straight defeat to the Astros - including last October's wild-card game - and the latest in a long line of lackluster offensive showings.
St. Louis at Pittsburgh 7:05 PM ET
Despite having the top starting rotation in the majors a year ago, the St. Louis Cardinals dipped into the free-agent waters to sign right-hander Mike Leake to a five-year contract worth $80 million. Leake will make his debut with his new club and try to help the Cardinals avoid a three-game sweep in Wednesday's series finale at the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Washington at Atlanta 7:10 PM ET
Daniel Murphy wasted little time making a huge impression on his new team, and the Washington Nationals look for more of the same from their new second baseman when they play at the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday. Murphy blasted a solo homer and sliced home an RBI single in the 10th inning of Monday’s season-opening 4-3 victory, the type of production he displayed by while hitting .328 with seven homers for the Mets in last year’s postseason.
Philadelphia at Cincinnati 7:10 PM ET
After the No. 1 strength of the Cincinnati Reds and the primary weakness of the Philadelphia Phillies coincided in the eighth inning of Monday's season opener, both teams are eyeing a stronger all-around effort when the three-game series continues Wednesday in Cincinnati. The Reds took the opener 6-2, but it was hardly a masterpiece for either squad.
LA Dodgers at San Diego 9:10 PM ET
The Los Angeles Dodgers have 10 players on the disabled list, but have hardly looked shorthanded in their first two games. The Dodgers head into Wednesday’s series finale against the host San Diego Padres looking for a sweep after rolling to two victories by a combined score of 18-0 while opening the season with consecutive shutouts for the third time in franchise history.
Chi. White Sox at Oakland 10:05 PM ET
Sonny Gray makes his belated 2016 debut when the Oakland Athletics host the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday after the ace fully recovered from what he is calling a 24-hour flu after it was originally thought to be food poisoning. Oakland's right-hander was prepared to make his third consecutive opening day start Monday, but instead went to the hospital and — along his fiancee — needed an IV infusion after becoming ill at dinner Sunday night.
