Phillies 9, Rockies 0: Ryan Howard broke out of a slump with five RBIs and a two-run homer among his three hits while Kyle Kendrick snapped a 16-start winless streak by pitching 6 2/3 solid innings to pace host Philadelphia.

Chase Utley had three hits, an RBI and three runs scored, pinch hitter John Mayberry Jr. belted a two-run homer and Ben Revere collected three hits and an RBI for the Phillies, who had 12 hits after being no-hit by Josh Beckett of the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday. Kendrick (1-5), who last won on Aug. 6, 2013 and had lost 10 straight decisions, scattered six hits while walking four.

Troy Tulowitzki recorded two hits to improve his major league-leading batting average to .378 for Colorado, which has lost eight of its last 12 games overall and eight of 10 on the road. Jhoulys Chacin (0-4) allowed four runs and seven hits in five-plus innings and is winless in five starts since missing the season's first month with a shoulder strain.

Utley singled with two out in the fourth and advanced to second on a wild pitch - one of three in the inning - before Howard, hitless in his previous 17 at-bats, beat the shift with a line-drive single to right to make it 1-0. Philadelphia doubled its lead in the fifth as Revere's two-out infield single drove in Domonic Brown.

Utley began the sixth with a single and Howard chased Chacin with a blast to right-center. Philadelphia blew it open with five runs in the seventh as Utley ripped a run-scoring double off the wall in right, Howard followed with a bloop single to left to plate two and Mayberry hammered a shot over the wall in left two batters later.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Rockies have scored nine runs in their last seven road games, going 1-6 during that span, and haven't scored in 20 innings. ... Philadelphia improved to 32-11 - and 19-4 at home - against Colorado since the start of 2008. ... Tulowitzki, who made his first error of the season, is batting .521 at home and .264 on the road, and is 9-for-13 against the Phillies this season.
