Nate Schierholtz followed with an RBI single to score Soriano and make it 4-3, but Cincinnati answered with two in the seventh on an RBI double by Votto and a sacrifice fly from Phillips. Donald Lutz added his first career RBI with a fielder's choice in the eighth for the Reds.
