MINNEAPOLIS -- The Oakland Athletics scored three runs in the seventh inning in a come-from-behind 3-1 win over the Minnesota Twins on Monday afternoon at Target Field.

After being held scoreless through six innings, Oakland third baseman Danny Valencia opened the seventh with a ringing double into the right -center field gap. He advanced to third on a fielder's choice and scored on a single by Stephen Vogt.

A broken bat blooper to shallow left by Billy Butler loaded the bases and Coco Crisp singled to center two batters later, scoring a pair of runs for a 3-1 lead.

Twins starter Ricky Nolasco (3-7) was charged with two of the runs and took the loss. The right-hander lasted six-plus innings and gave up two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out four.

Oakland right-hander Kendall Graveman (4-6) also pitched into the seventh, lasting 6 2/3 innings and allowing just one run on three hits and four walks. He struck out three and has now won each of his last three decisions.

Graveman got the first two outs in the seventh on just three pitches, but surrendered a walk and a single against his final two batters. He was replaced by right-hander Ryan Dull, who got Eduardo Nunez to ground into a fielder's choice to end the inning. Dull has now stranded all 36 runners he has inherited, an expansion era record to start a season.

Ryan Madson worked around a triple and a walk in the ninth inning to record his 16th save.

The victory snapped a four-game losing streak for Oakland, which improved to 4-0 against Minnesota this season.

Joe Mauer had a pair of hits for the Twins, who had won their previous two games.
