NEW YORK -- First baseman Lucas Duda homered and delivered an RBI double Wednesday night and left-hander Jonathon Niese wriggled out of trouble for 6 1/3 innings as the New York Mets completed a three-game sweep of the Philadelphia Phillies with a 6-1 victory at Citi Field.

The Mets (6-3) ran their winning streak to four games just hours after third baseman and captain David Wright was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring. New York had just three four-game winning streaks last season.

The Phillies (3-6) have lost four in a row.

Duda homered to lead off a two-run fifth -- the only multi-run inning of the night for the Mets -- and capped the scoring with a one-out double in the sixth.

Catcher Travis d'Arnaud was 2-for-4 with a solo homer. Center fielder Juan Lagares was 2-for-4 with an RBI single and right fielder Curtis Granderson had two hits.

Niese allowed one run, nine hits and two walks while striking out four in 6 1/3 innings. He had just one 1-2-3 inning but stranded seven base runners in his six full innings, including five in scoring position.

Center fielder Odubel Herrera went 3-for-5 with a triple, two doubles and a run scored for the Phillies. Second baseman Chase Utley drove Herrera home with an RBI groundout in the first inning.

Third baseman Cody Asche went 3-for-3 with a walk and was 6-for-10 with two walks in the series. Catcher Cameron Rupp had two hits.

Right-hander Jerome Williams took the loss after giving up five runs (four earned), 10 hits and one walk while striking out one in five innings.

The Phillies took the lead in the first inning when Herrera tripled on Niese's third pitch and scored two batters later on a groundout by Utley.

But the Mets scored five times between the second and fifth. In the second, third baseman Eric Campbell singled with one out, went to second on a wild pitch and scored on Lagares' single.

D'Arnaud led off the third with a homer. Niese helped his cause with a hit-and-run RBI single in the fourth to score Lagares.

Duda led off the fifth with a homer. Left fielder Michael Cuddyer followed with a double and went to third on a groundout. Cuddyer broke for home on Campbell's slow roller to third, but Asche's throw hit Cuddyer on the helmet as he slid across the plate.

NOTES: Mets manager Terry Collins said 3B Eric Campbell will be the everyday player at the hot corner while 3B David Wright (right hamstring strain) is on the disabled list. General manager Sandy Alderson said he was hopeful Wright would miss just two to three weeks. ... With Wright hurt, Mets C Travis d'Arnaud batted second for the first time as a big-leaguer. ... Phillies manager Ryne Sandberg said OF Domonic Brown (Achilles tendinitis) would move his rehab to Triple-A Lehigh Valley within the next couple days. Brown is hitting .300 in four games at Class A Clearwater. ... Phillies RHP Chad Billingsley (flexor tendon surgery) made his second rehab start for Lehigh Valley on Wednesday, when he allowed two hits over five shutout innings. He is expected to make at least three more starts before joining the Phillies.
