Dodgers 5, Angels 4: Juan Uribe scored on a throwing error in the ninth inning to lift the host Dodgers to a walk-off win in the second of four straight Freeway Series contests.

Uribe, who had a three-run homer in the second, singled off Kevin Jepsen (0-1) with one out in the ninth, raced to third on a hit-and-run base hit to center by A.J. Ellis and was safe at home when Ethier chopped one to third and catcher Chris Iannetta was unable to hold onto a wide throw home by David Freese. Kenley Jansen (2-3) struck out the side in the top of the ninth to get the win as the first-place Dodgers moved 2 1/2 games up on San Francisco in the National League West.

Dodgers starter Clayton Kershaw was in line to win his 11th straight decision after giving up three runs in seven innings and leaving with a 4-3 lead, but Albert Pujols launched a game-tying solo shot off Brian Wilson in the eighth. Pujols also had an RBI double and Iannetta drove in a pair with a double of his own for the Angels, who fell two games behind Oakland in the American League West race.

Kershaw ran into trouble in the second, when a single and a double put two men in scoring position for Iannetta, who lined a double into the corner in right to make it 2-0. Uribe's blast in the bottom of the frame gave the Dodgers a short-lived 3-2 advantage, as Pujols knocked in Mike Trout with a double in the third to tie it.

Matt Kemp reached on an error to begin the sixth and moved to third on a steal and an error before scoring a go-ahead run on Scott Van Slyke's sacrifice fly. The Angels went hitless from Pujols' third-inning double until his solo shot in the eighth – the 513th of his career – moving him ahead of Ernie Banks and Eddie Matthews and into 21st place on the all-time list.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Freeway Series shifts to Anaheim for two games Wednesday and Thursday. ... Angels starter Hector Santiago was charged with four runs (three earned) in 5 1/3 innings. ... The Dodgers placed LHP Paco Rodriguez (shoulder) on the 15-day disabled list and recalled RHP Pedro Baez from Triple-A Albuquerque.
