Dodgers 2, Giants 1: Hyun-Jin Ryu pitched seven shutout innings as visiting Los Angeles beat San Francisco to salvage the finale of a three-game series.

Tim Federowicz and Adrian Gonzalez delivered run-scoring singles as the Dodgers moved into a first-place tie with the Giants in the National League West. Gonzalez went 2-for-4 to extend his hitting streak to 12 games.

Ryu (3-1) allowed four hits and one walk while striking out five. Brian Wilson pitched out of an eighth-inning jam and Kenley Jansen gave up a run-scoring single in the ninth to Ehire Adrianza before recording the final out for his fifth save.

Scott Van Slyke drew a two-out walk against Madison Bumgarner (2-1) in the second and Juan Uribe reached on an infield single before Federowicz singled to center to give Los Angeles a 1-0 lead. Justin Turner led off the fifth with a double, moved to third on a flyout and scored on Gonzalez’s single to right.

The Giants had two on with one out in the eighth before Wilson struck out Pablo Sandoval and retired Buster Posey on a fly to center. San Francisco put runners on first and second with two outs in the ninth before Adrianza’s third hit of the day dropped into shallow left before Jansen induced Brandon Crawford to fly to left to end it.
