Dodgers 6, Giants 2: Hanley Ramirez hit two home runs and doubled and Matt Kemp also went deep twice as host Los Angeles avoided a three-game sweep.

Zack Greinke (2-0) let up two runs on a pair of solo homers while striking out eight and walking none. Adrian Gonzalez doubled and scored for the Dodgers, who received three scoreless innings from their bullpen, capped by Kenley Jansen's work in the ninth in a non-save situation.

Brandon Belt and Hunter Pence had the home runs off Greinke to pace San Francisco, which had won four straight. Matt Cain (0-1) was reached for five runs and six hits in six frames while falling to 5-11 lifetime versus Los Angeles.

Kemp, whose last home run of 2013 came off Cain in San Francisco on Sept. 24, smacked a 1-0 offering over the wall in center to start the scoring in the second. Ramirez had a solo shot in the fourth before Gonzalez doubled and Kemp again took Cain out to center to make it 4-0.

Belt led off the sixth with his fourth of the year - one behind early National League leader Mark Trumbo of Arizona - and Pence went the other way with two outs to cut the deficit to 4-2. Ramirez doubled and scored in the bottom of the frame, homered in the eighth and the Dodgers bullpen finished the job.
