Rangers 13, Astros 6: Michael Choice clubbed a three-run homer among his three hits and visiting Texas romped to even the four-game series at one victory apiece.

Rougned Odor also swatted a three-run homer, Adam Rosales added three hits and matched Elvis Andrus with two RBIs as the Rangers beat Houston for only the second time in 10 meetings. Scott Baker (3-3) benefited from the offensive eruption, winning his second straight start by giving up two runs in 6 1/3 innings.

Jason Castro homered for the second straight contest and Marwin Gonzalez had three hits and two RBIs for the Astros, who lost for the fifth time in seven games. Brett Oberholtzer (4-10) was roughed up for seven runs on nine hits in 4 1/3 innings to remain winless over his last five starts.

Andrus doubled home a run in the first inning and delivered a sacrifice fly in the third for a 2-1 lead before the Rangers pulled away with four runs in the fourth. Tomas Telis singled home a run before Choice walloped a towering homer off the facade behind the seats in left to make it 6-1.

Texas added single runs in the fifth and sixth innings before tacking on five more runs in the seventh. Rosales singled home a pair before Odor launched a three-run blast to extend the lead to 13-1.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Andrus snapped a drought of 16 games without an RBI with his run-scoring double in the first inning. ... Astros CF Dexter Fowler has hit safely in six straight games and reached base in all 16 contests since coming off the disabled list. ... Rangers OF Jim Adduci was placed on the seven-day disabled list after banging his head in a fall during Thursday's game and suffering concussion-like symptoms. OF Ryan Rua was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock and collected his first career hit while becoming the 59th players to suit up for Texas, tying a major-league record.
