Astros 8, Rangers 4: Robbie Grossman had a career-high four hits - including a home run - and two RBIs as visiting Houston completed its first sweep of Texas in 11 years.

Rookie George Springer belted a two-run homer and Carlos Corporan recorded two hits and two RBIs as the Astros amassed 28 runs in the three games to sweep the Rangers for the first time since June 2003. Dallas Keuchel (9-5) earned his first win since June 11, going 6 2/3 innings and allowing four runs on eight hits.

Dan Robertson drove in a pair of runs, Adrian Beltre went 2-for-4 with an RBI and Jake Smolinski collected three hits for Texas, which has lost four straight and 10 of 11 to drop into a virtual tie with Houston for last place in the American League West. Ace Yu Darvish (8-5) was battered for six runs on 10 hits in six innings to fall to 1-3 in his last five starts.

A two-run double by Robertson and Shin-Soo Choo's sacrifice fly in the second inning gave the Rangers a 4-2 lead before Grossman, who entered in an 0-for-28 drought, singled home Jose Altuve in the third and belted a tying homer in the fifth off Darvish.

Corporan followed singles by Jon Singleton and Chris Carter with a two-run double in the sixth against Darvish, who gave up 10 hits for only the second time in his career. Springer pushed the lead to 8-4 with a shot off Jason Frasor in the seventh, his 19th of the season.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Springer, who didn't hit his first homer until May 8, is two shy of the franchise single-season rookie record set by Lance Berkman in 2000. ... Beltre ran his hitting streak to 13 games and failed to score a run for the first time in eight contests. ... Houston C Jason Castro sat out his third straight game with discomfort in his armpit but insisted he will be back in the lineup Friday, when the Astros host Boston. Texas will host the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday in the opener of a four-game series.
