Astros 7, Angels 4: Jason Castro blasted an early two-run home run as host Houston smacked five homers - four against Jered Weaver - to take the third game of a four-game set with Los Angeles.

Matt Dominguez, Jesus Guzman, Alex Presley and Jonathan Villar also homered for the Astros, who had been outscored 16-2 over the first two games of the series. Scott Feldman (2-0) delivered a terrific start for Houston, tossing seven innings in which he allowed one run and three hits - all singles.

Weaver (0-2) matched his career high by allowing four homers, giving up five runs in 5 2/3 innings. Erick Aybar drove in a fifth-inning run for Los Angeles before the Angels made things interesting with three runs in the ninth.

The Astros' first four hits were home runs, as they went deep against Weaver in four of the first five innings, starting with Castro's two-run shot in the first. Dominguez (second inning) and Guzman (fourth) added solo shots before Aybar's run-scoring groundout in the fifth drew the Angels within 4-1.

Presley sent Weaver's second pitch of the sixth over the right-field wall for his first homer of the season and reliever Matt Shoemaker surrendered Villar's two-run shot in the seventh. The Angels recorded three hits in the first eight innings but rallied for five hits in the ninth, including a two-run single by Raul Ibanez and an RBI hit by Aybar before Kole Calhoun - the potential tying run - struck out against Chad Qualls to give the reliever his first save since 2010.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Weaver had not allowed four home runs in a game since 2008. ... The Astros' franchise record is seven home runs against the Cubs back in 2000. They hit five home runs in a game twice last year. ... Angels 1B Albert Pujols went 1-for-4 and is batting .200 with no home runs and one RBI on the young season.
