Rockies 1, Giants 0: Six Colorado pitchers combined on a three-hitter and Troy Tulowitzki delivered a sacrifice fly as the Rockies recorded a rare victory in San Francisco.

Colorado starter Brett Anderson allowed one hit in three innings before leaving with a left index finger contusion. Rookie Tommy Kahnle (2-0) worked the next two frames and 41-year-old LaTroy Hawkins pitched a perfect ninth to earn his second save as the Rockies won for only the third time in their last 17 games at AT&T Park.

The Giants' Matt Cain (0-2) allowed one run, four hits, walked three and struck out eight in seven innings. Hunter Pence's single in the second inning, Pablo Sandoval's lead-off double in the fourth and Brandon Crawford's one-out double in the eighth were the only hits San Francisco could muster.

Anderson left while trying to warm up for the fourth inning after suffering the injury making contact while grounding out to end the top of the frame. Kahnle took the mound and promptly gave up a double to Sandoval and walked Buster Posey before inducing Michael Morse to hit into a double play and retiring the final five batters he faced.

Charlie Blackmon walked and Brandon Barnes reached on an infield hit to start the third and after a double steal with one out, Tulowitzki lifted a fly ball to right. Rex Brothers walked pinch-hitter Brandon Hicks after Crawford's double, retired Angel Pagan and walked Pence before striking out Sandoval with a 1-2 slider in the dirt.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Cain is 0-4 in his last seven outings at home and hasn't won at AT&T Park since July 20. ... Pagan went 0-for-4 to snap his 10-game hitting streak and drop his average from .442 to .404. ... Tulowitzki (right quad tightness) returned to the starting lineup after appearing in one pinch-hitting role over the last two contests while Colorado C Wilin Rosario went 0-for-3 after missing Friday's game with a sore left wrist.
