Tigers 11, Rockies 5: Rick Porcello moved into a tie for the major league lead with his 13th victory, Victor Martinez delivered a three-run homer and Miguel Cabrera belted a solo shot as host Detroit scored in every inning en route to its second straight win over Colorado.

Alex Avila (two RBIs), Ian Kinsler (RBI) and Rajai Davis (RBI) had three hits apiece, and J.D. Martinez also went deep as the first-place Tigers increased their lead to five games over Kansas City in the American League Central. Porcello (13-5) struck out a season-high 10 while allowing two runs and five hits in eight innings.

Drew Stubbs drove in two runs while Charlie Culberson and Wilin Rosario knocked in one apiece for the Rockies, who lost for the sixth time in seven games and fell to 1-8 on the road since the All-Star break. Rookie Tyler Matzek (2-6) allowed eight runs and 10 hits over four-plus innings in the worst start of his 11-game career.

Cabrera gave Detroit a 3-2 lead when he drove a 1-0 pitch over the wall in center with two out in the third for his 17th home run. Avila, whose RBI single tied it 2-2 in the second, delivered a run-scoring double in the fourth after Nick Castellanos tripled with two out and Eugenio Suarez drove in Avila with a single to make it 5-2.

The Tigers blew it open in the fifth as Kinsler led off the frame with a line drive in and out of Matzek's glove, and advanced to third when Matzek threw wildly to first. After Cabrera was walked intentionally, Martinez crushed the next pitch out to left for his 22nd homer - and first in 17 contests - to put Detroit on top 8-2.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Tigers, who had 16 hits, became the first team to score in every inning of an interleague contest and the seventh American League team to do so - and the first since the New York Yankees defeated visiting Toronto 17-6 on April 29, 2006. ... Colorado RF Carlos Gonzalez, who is 5-for-40 in 11 games since the All-Star break, did not play after leaving Friday's game with a sprained ankle. ... Cabrera's 382nd career homer was his 244th with Detroit, moving him into a tie for sixth on the franchise's all-time list with Lou Whitaker - Al Kaline is first at 399.
