Angels 3, Orioles 2: Kole Calhoun drew a bases-loaded walk in the eighth inning after Erick Aybar delivered a game-tying RBI double as Los Angeles salvaged the series finale against visiting Baltimore.

Jered Weaver (11-6) allowed two runs while striking out six with no walks over eight innings and Huston Street worked around a one-out walk in the ninth for his 25th save of the season - and first since being acquired from San Diego last week. Albert Pujols recorded two hits and an RBI for Los Angeles, which registered its 31st come-from-behind victory.

The Angels trailed 2-1 before Josh Hamilton led off the eighth with a single against Tommy Hunter (2-2) and scored on Aybar’s double to left-center field. Brian Matusz replaced Hunter with the bases loaded and one out and promptly walked Calhoun, allowing Aybar to score the go-ahead run.

Los Angeles took an early lead in the first as All-Star Game MVP Mike Trout reached on an infield single with one out and scored on Pujols’ base hit off the wall in right-center field. Baltimore’s Chris Tillman posted his fourth consecutive quality start, yielding one run on five hits over six innings.

The Orioles pulled even in the third on Nick Markakis’ RBI single and moved ahead 2-1 in the sixth, when David Lough singled with one out, stole second and scored on All-Star Adam Jones’ bloop base hit to right field. Lough notched two hits for Baltimore, which lost for the seventh time in 48 games when leading after seven innings.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Angels placed INF-OF Grant Green on the disabled list with a strained back and recalled DH C.J. Cron from Triple-A Salt Lake. … Orioles 3B Manny Machado missed his second straight game due to back spasms, but he’s hoping to avoid a stint on the disabled list. … The Angels have won 22 of Weaver’s 24 career home starts in the month of July.
