Rockies 5, Diamondbacks 1: Corey Dickerson and Josh Rutledge each went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs while Eddie Butler earned his first major league victory as host Colorado extended its winning streak to five games.

Butler (1-1) tossed six innings of one-run ball and scattered five hits in his second career start for the Rockies, who handed the Diamondbacks their fifth straight loss. Justin Morneau went 2-for-4 and scored twice while Charlie Blackmon added two hits and scored a run to help the Rockies match their longest winning streak of the season.

Dickerson began the scoring in the first with an RBI triple off Trevor Cahill (3-12), who allowed five runs on 10 hits - including six for extra bases - while striking out eight over five frames. Jake Lamb homered and Miguel Montero had three hits for the Diamondbacks, who were 0-for-11 with runners in scoring position.

Blackmon belted a leadoff triple in the third and Rutledge followed with his fourth home run out to center. Morneau doubled later in the inning and scored on Ben Paulsen’s bloop single to left-center.

Lamb cut the deficit to 4-1 with a one-out homer in the fifth off Butler, who walked one and struck out one in his first start since June 6. The Rockies responded in the bottom half as Dickerson blasted a leadoff homer into the Rockies’ bullpen in right-center field.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Oliver Perez recorded the first four-strikeout inning in Diamondbacks history when Morneau struck out to begin the inning and reached on a wild pitch before Perez struck out the next three batters.. ... Colorado RHP LaTroy Hawkins made his 997th career appearance in the ninth inning, when he allowed two hits before retiring the Diamondbacks in order. … Arizona LF Ender Inciarte went 1-for-4 to extend his hitting streak to nine games.
