Diamondbacks 14, Rockies 4: David Peralta highlighted a nine-run eighth inning with a grand slam among his five RBIs, and Mark Trumbo belted a three-run homer and drove in four as host Arizona recorded its sixth straight victory over Colorado.

Alfredo Marte added a solo shot while Cliff Pennington contributed three hits, four runs and an RBI for the Diamondbacks. Trevor Cahill (2-8) won for the first time in five turns since joining the rotation, yielding three runs (two earned) and four hits while striking out seven over seven innings in his third straight quality start.

Nolan Arenado homered and drove in three runs for the Rockies, who fell to 2-20 in their last 22 road games and 5-15 overall since the All-Star break. Jorge De La Rosa (11-8) allowed four runs and six hits in six innings en route to losing his second straight start following a five-game winning streak.

The Rockies took a 2-0 lead in the first inning - highlighted by Arenado's RBI double - prior to Peralta delivering a run-scoring two-base hit in the bottom half. After Arenado's sacrifice fly in the third restored Colorado's two-run lead, Trumbo crushed a 3-2 pitch to left with two out in the bottom half for his eighth homer to put Arizona on top 4-3.

Marte greeted reliever Tommy Kahnle with a blast over the wall in left on a full count to lead off the seventh before Arenado hit his 11th of the season and first on the road in the eighth. Pennington, Didi Gregorius, Aaron Hill and Trumbo recorded RBIs in Arizona's eighth before Peralta's third hit of the game sailed over the pool.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Rockies RF Carlos Gonzalez, who is 8-for-51 with 20 strikeouts since the All-Star break, did not play after a recurrence of left knee tendinitis forced him to leave Friday's game. ... De La Rosa matched a career high with his ninth straight game of six innings or more. ... Colorado OF Charlie Blackmon, who is hitting .332 at home and .233 on the road, is 2-for-21 in five games at Chase Field this season and 13-for-25 against Arizona in six home contests.
