Aaron Judge hit a solo home run and finished with three RBIs as the visiting New York Yankees defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 9-1 on Tuesday night for their 11th straight win.

Giancarlo Stanton added a two-run home run for the Yankees, who scored six runs in the seventh inning and have won the first two games of the three-game series.

The back-to-back losses mean the Blue Jays have lost their first series of the season. They were 6-0-1 in their previous seven series. The split was in a four-game series with the Yankees.

Toronto starter Alek Manoah allowed one run, three hits and one walk while striking out seven in six innings and did not factor in the decision.

New York starter Jameson Taillon (2-1) surrendered one run, five hits and no walks in six innings. He struck out four.

Manoah pitched around a walk and a single in the first inning, stranding runners at the corners.

Toronto scored in the fifth. Alejandro Kirk doubled to right with one out. George Springer reached first base on catcher's interference, and Bo Bichette hit an RBI single to left.

Manoah retired 15 straight batters before Aaron Hicks singled with one out in the sixth. Hicks was caught trying to steal second two pitches before Judge hit his ninth home run of the season into the second deck in left field. Judge has an eight-game hit streak.

Losing pitcher Adam Cimber (4-1) replaced Manoah to start the seventh. Stanton reached first base on Bichette's throwing error on a grounder to shortstop. Josh Donaldson stroked an RBI double to left center and scored on Marwin Gonzalez's double to left.

After Julian Merryweather replaced Cimber, Isiah Kiner-Falefa hit an infield single and Gonzalez took third. Jose Trevino hit a fielder's choice grounder to first and Gonzalez was ruled safe at home after a rundown, although the tag appeared to have been made. Toronto had already used its challenge.

Hicks then hit an RBI single and Judge tagged a two-run double.

Stanton extended his hitting streak to eight games with his fifth homer of the season in the ninth against Andrew Vasquez.
