Marcus Semien hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning Friday to give the Toronto Blue Jays a come-from-behind, 11-10 win over the visiting Oakland Athletics.

Mark Canha hit a two-run homer with two outs in the top of the ninth against Jordan Romano (7-1), his 15th homer of the year, after the Blue Jays (71-62) had tied the game with a six-run eighth.

In the bottom of the ninth, Sergio Romo (1-1) allowed Breyvic Valera's single and George Springer's double to open the inning before Semien hit his 34th homer of the season. Semien spent the past six seasons with the A's (74-61) before signing with the Blue Jays as a free agent in January.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr.'s third career grand slam -- all coming this year -- capped Toronto's eighth-inning rally.

Lou Trivino walked pinch hitter Valera to lead off the eighth, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (3-for-4) hit a two-out RBI single. A hit batter and a walk loaded the bases before Yusmeiro Petit replaced Trivino. Alejandro Kirk walked to force in a run, and Gurriel followed with his 15th homer of the season.

Oakland starter Sean Manaea allowed two runs and five hits and no walks while striking out nine in seven innings.

Toronto starter Alek Manoah gave up six runs, five hits and three walks in five-plus innings. He also hit two batters.

Oakland's Josh Harrison and Starling Marte opened the first inning with singles, and Jed Lowrie walked with one out. Matt Chapman, who finished with three RBIs in the game, hit a two-run double.

Toronto tied the game in the fourth on the 23rd homer of the season by Teoscar Hernandez, a two-run shot.

Manoah hit two consecutive batters -- Harrison and Marte -- with pitches with one out in the fifth. Matt Olson followed with a two-run double.

Marte, who was plunked on the helmet, stayed in the game to run the bases but was replaced by Skye Bolt in center field in the bottom of the fifth.

Oakland's Tony Kemp hit a two-run homer, his sixth long ball of the season, in the sixth. He finished the game with three RBIs.

The A's scored twice in the seventh against Nate Pearson after shortstop Bo Bichette made an error on Olson's leadoff grounder. Lowrie doubled before Chapman and Kemp hit RBI singles.
