Billy McKinney hit a two-run home run with none out in the bottom of 10th inning and the Toronto Blue Jays salvaged the finale of a four-game series with a 7-5 victory over the visiting Los Angeles Angels on Thursday night.
McKinney's fourth homer of the season -- and his first career walk-off blast -- came against Ty Buttrey (4-4) after Randal Grichuk led off with a single.
Nick Kingham (2-1) pitched around a single in the top of the 10th to earn the win.
The Angels won the season series 6-1.
Teoscar Hernandez, Eric Sogard and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. also homered for Toronto.
Luis Rengifo homered for Los Angeles.
Angels starter Jose Suarez allowed five runs, eight hits and three walks.
Blue Jays starter Clayton Richard allowed four runs, six hits and two walks in six-plus innings.
Toronto scored three first-inning runs. Sogard doubled, took third on Gurriel's single and scored on Cavan Biggio's sacrifice fly. Hernandez, who missed the two previous games with a sprained wrist, homered for the seventh time this season.
The Angels cut the lead to 3-2 in the second when Rengifo's second homer of the season followed Tommy La Stella's single.
Sogard hit his seventh homer of the season with two out in the bottom of the second.
The Angels scored once in the fifth. Rengifo singled and Dustin Garneau doubled. Rengifo scored on Wilfredo Tovar's groundout to short.
Gurriel led off the bottom of the fifth with his ninth homer, and the Blue Jays led 5-3.
In the top of the sixth, Richard walked leadoff batter Kole Calhoun and was replaced by Derek Law. Albert Pujols reached first on third baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s error and La Stella's single loaded the bases. Joe Biagini replaced Law and allowed Rengifo's RBI single.
The Angels tied the score in the seventh. Mike Trout doubled and stole third. Calhoun walked with one out, Daniel Hudson relieved Tim Mayza and Pujols hit a sacrifice fly.
Toronto closer Ken Giles (elbow inflammation), activated Thursday from the injured list, pitched a perfect ninth.
The Angels' Hansel Robles struck out the side in the bottom of the ninth.
Toronto reliever Justin Shafer was optioned Thursday to Triple-A Buffalo.
NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard of the champion Toronto Raptors attended the game and received an ovation.
