Randal Grichuk hit a home run for the Blue Jays, who have won the first three games of the four-game series, their first series win at home since April 17-18. They have won three games in a row for the first time since April 29-May 1.

Givens (0-2) walked Justin Smoak with one out in the bottom of the 10th and Kendrys Morales followed with a single. Grichuk was hit by a pitch to load the bases and Maile walked on four pitches.

John Axford (1-0) allowed one hit and two walks (one intentional) over two innings to earn the win.

Blue Jays right-hander Aaron Sanchez allowed two runs, six hits and four walks in 6 1/3 innings. He struck out five.

Orioles right-hander Kevin Gausman allowed three runs, nine hits and no walks while striking out six in 6 2/3 innings.

The Blue Jays took a 1-0 lead in the third on singles by Aledmys Diaz, Gio Urshela and Yangervis Solarte. Toronto added a run in the sixth on back-to-back doubles by Solarte and Teoscar Hernandez.

Baltimore score twice in the seventh. Trey Mancini singled, and Chance Sisco hit an RBI double to right and advanced to third on the throw home. After Jace Peterson walked to put runners at the corners, Danny Barnes replaced Sanchez. Adam Jones tied the game with an RBI single.

The Blue Jays regained the lead when Grichuk led off the bottom of the seventh with his fifth homer of the season. After Urshela hit a two-out single, Richard Bleier replaced Gausman and ended the inning on Solarte's fly to right.

Aaron Loup replaced Barnes in the eighth and retired pinch hitter Craig Gentry on a grounder to second. Joe Biagini took over and hit Jonathan Schoop with a pitch and made a throwing error on Trumbo's comebacker.

Tyler Clippard replaced Biagini and walked Mancini to load the bases. Sisco struck out. Schoop scored the tying run from third on Clippard's wild pitch with Jace Peterson hitting.

Baltimore's Miguel Castro survived a walk and a single in the bottom of the eighth.

Jones led off the ninth with a single against Axford and, after he moved to second on a wild pitch, Manny Machado was intentionally walked. Jones advanced to third when Danny Valencia flied out to right. Machado took second on defensive indifference. Gentry grounded to shortstop with the infield playing in and Jones was out at home. Schoop grounded out to second to end the threat.

Castro pitched around a two-out infield single in the bottom of the ninth and Axford survived a walk in the top of the 10th.
