Twins 11, Brewers 3: Denard Span collected four hits and drove in three runs as visiting Minnesota rode a 16-hit attack to its third victory in a row.

Joe Mauer had Justin Morneau added three RBIs apiece, Josh Willingham belted a two-run homer and Scott Diamond recorded his team-leading third triumph for the Twins (13-26), who still hold the major league's worst record despite the winning streak.

With the game tied at 2-2 in the fifth inning, Mauer ripped the first of his two run-scoring doubles when he deposited a low fastball into left-center field to plate Diamond and Span. Mauer, who had three hits, added an RBI double in the four-run eighth inning as the Twins pulled away.

Span had a two-run single in the sixth and an RBI single in the eighth for Minnesota, which benefited from four Milwaukee errors.

Recalled from Triple-A Rochester last week, Diamond (3-0) allowed three runs on eight hits in 5 1/3 innings to pick up the win.

Reigning National League MVP Ryan Braun had three hits - including a homer to lead off the sixth inning - while Norichika Aoki ripped an RBI double and Corey Hart scored twice for the Brewers, who dropped their third straight game and fifth in six outings. Milwaukee has limped to a 5-11 mark in May.
