Marlins 5, Phillies 4: Hanley Ramirez homered twice as visiting Miami erased an early three-run deficit to defeat Cole Hamels for the second time this season and thwart his bid to become the majors' first nine-game winner.

Ricky Nolasco (6-3) overcame a sluggish start to toss seven solid innings for the Marlins, who have won four of their last five. Jose Reyes had an RBI double in the seventh inning to extend his league-leading hitting streak to 13 games.

After Hunter Pence went deep for the second straight game to give the Phillies a 3-0 lead, Ramirez led off the fourth inning by depositing a fastball from Hamels (8-2) over the wall in left-center for a home run. Justin Ruggiano added an RBI double later in the frame to trim the deficit to one.

In the sixth inning, Ramirez then jumped on a changeup from Hamels and launched it into the seats in left field. The two-homer game was his first since July 2, 2011 versus Texas.

Hamels saw his eight-game winning streak go by the boards after permitting five runs on seven hits in 6 2/3 innings. He worked just 5 1/3 innings in a 6-2 loss to Miami on April 9.

Nolasco improved to 6-1 in Philadelphia after allowing four runs on eight hits. Steve Cishek replaced him in the eighth and yielded a run-scoring sacrifice fly to Pence, but struck out a pair of end the threat.

Heath Bell stranded pinch-runner Mike Fontenot at second base in the ninth inning for his 11th save.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Ramirez has 12 career multi-homer games. ... Pence's blast was his team-leading 13th homer of the season. ... Philadelphia veteran reliever Jose Contreras will miss the remainder of the season after injuring his right elbow on Friday. The 40-year-old Contreras had offseason surgery on the same area.
