Hiroki Kuroda pitched 7 2/3 scoreless innings and Matt Kemp blasted his eighth home run to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 3-0 victory over the visiting Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday.

Kuroda (5-3) allowed six hits, two walks and struck out seven as the Dodgers snapped a three-game slide and ended the Brewers' four-game winning streak. Kuroda has started each of the Dodgers’ three shutouts this season.

Matt Guerrier recorded a perfect ninth for his first save with Los Angeles and sixth of his career.

Los Angeles grabbed the early lead on Kemp’s two-run shot in the first off Randy Wolf (3-4), who allowed two runs and five hits over 5 1/3 innings on 119 pitches.

Milwaukee went 0-for-9 with runners in scoring position after going 2-for-14 in Monday’s 2-1 victory over the Dodgers.
