Jeff Keppinger and Pablo Sandoval hit back-to-back homers to lead off the fourth inning as the San Francisco Giants beat the visiting Chicago Cubs 4-0 on Wednesday, snapping their three-game losing streak.

The Giants remained six games behind Arizona in the National League West.

Giants starter Madison Bumgarner (9-12) gave up two hits over eight innings and tied his career high with 11 strikeouts. He improved to 6-1 over his last eight home starts.

Keppinger went 3-for-4 with two RBIs for the Giants, who won for just the sixth time in the last 16 games.
