Hanley Ramirez hit a grand slam and a solo home run, and Logan Morrison also homered to lead the visiting Florida Marlins to a 9-5 victory over the Texas Rangers on Saturday.

The Marlins had not scored more than five runs in their previous 17 games, but scored five in the first inning Saturday.

Ramirez, hitting in the cleanup spot, connected for his fifth career grand slam off Rangers starter Derek Holland (6-4), who didn't make it out of the first inning. Holland has lost three of his last four starts.

Ramirez also had a single for his second three-hit game of the season and his first since April 14. He raised his average to .230, the highest it has been since April 20.

Josh Hamilton went 3-for-5 with two homers and three RBIs for the Rangers.
