Mike Stanton and Omar Infante drove in two runs apiece, and the host Florida Marlins snapped their franchise-worst 11-game losing streak with a 5-2 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday.

The win is only the second in 21 games this month for the Marlins, and their first victory under interim manager Jack McKeon, 80, who took over Monday.

Marlins starter Javier Vazquez (4-7) pitched into the sixth to win for the first time since May 21.

The Angels had 10 of their 12 hits against Vazquez, but couldn't capitalize. They were 0-for-12 with runners in scoring position until Torii Hunter's RBI single in the ninth, and they are 2-for-25 in those situations in the first two games of the series.

Los Angeles scored two runs in the ninth and had the tying run at the plate, but Leo Nunez struck out Russell Branyan for his 20th save.

Angels starter Ervin Santana (3-8) has lost his last four starts and is winless since May 25. The Angels haven't scored more than two runs in any of those losses.

Gaby Sanchez hit a solo home run in the first for one of the two runs against Santana, who lasted five innings.
