Jimmy Rollins broke a tie with a two-run single in the ninth inning and the Philadelphia Phillies rallied from a three-run deficit for a 5-3 victory over the host Florida Marlins on Wednesday.

The Marlins took a 3-0 lead against Phillies starter Cliff Lee, but Florida's usually strong bullpen couldn't hold it. The Phillies scored two runs in the seventh - both charged to Marlins starter Ricky Nolasco - and tied it in the eighth on Shane Victorino's homer off lefthander Mike Dunn.

The rally continued in the ninth when Rollins' sharp single to right against Marlins closer Leo Nunez (0-1) scored Dane Sardinha and Pete Orr.

Ryan Madson worked a perfect ninth for his fifth save.

Marlins shortstop Hanley Ramirez went 2-for-4 and hit his second home run to raise his average to .217. He entered the three-game series hitting .195.

Lee allowed three runs, seven hits and struck out four in six innings. Nolasco allowed two runs - one earned - on five hits over 6 1/3 innings. He walked two and struck out six.

The Phillies took two of three in the series and increased their lead in the National League East to three games over the Marlins.
