In a game eerily reminiscent of the last time the teams faced each other, the visiting Detroit Tigers pounded the Chicago White Sox 14-4 on Monday to cruise to their 10th straight victory.

Ryan Raburn homered among four hits, drove in three runs and scored four runs to highlight the offense for the Tigers, who lowered their magic number to five.

Detroit put the American League Central away for all intents and purposes on Sept. 4, when it completed a three-game sweep of the White Sox with an 18-2 drubbing on national television.

The Tigers have not lost since and picked up right where they left off against Chicago on Monday, as seven different players put together multi-hit games in a 21-hit barrage.

Rick Porcello (14-8) pitched 6 2/3 strong innings, allowing three runs and six hits to earn the easy win.

John Danks (6-12) started for the White Sox and allowed runs in the second, third, fourth and fifth before finally being lifted after 98 pitches.

The bullpen fared no better, as Josh Kinney came on for the sixth and ended up allowing six runs on eight hits in a single frame. Miguel Cabrera, Victor Martinez, Alex Avila, Raburn and Ramon Santiago drove in runs during the rally.
