J.J. Hardy homered twice as the Baltimore Orioles roughed up the host Toronto Blue Jays 12-4 on Tuesday night.

Hardy took Brandon Morrow (7-5) deep in the third and fourth innings, and added a sacrifice fly in the fifth to cap a four-RBI night. It was the first multi-homer game for Hardy since July 6, 2008.

The one-sided defeat wasn't the biggest loss of the night for the Jays. Slugger Jose Bautista left the game in the third after taking a pitch in the helmet from Baltimore starter Jake Arrieta.

Bautista remained on the ground for a few moments before leaving on his own power. The Blue Jays confirmed Bautista was removed for precautionary measures and is considered day-to-day.

Derrek Lee finished with four hits - including a homer - and five RBIs as Baltimore set a season high with eight extra-base hits. It was also the first time since April 22, 2005 that the Orioles scored 10 or more runs in Toronto - a stretch of 58 games.

Arrieta (10-7) won despite allowing four runs - including homers to Adam Lind and Aaron Hill. He left after five innings with a foot injury.

Morrow was torched for seven runs on nine hits in 3 1/3 innings as his five-game winning streak came to an end.
