TORONTO -- Chris Colabello kept three streaks going with his game-winning, two-run single in the ninth inning Sunday.

The left fielder's walk-off hit gave the Blue Jays a comeback 7-6 victory over the Houston Astros. In doing so he extended his career-best hit streak to 17 games, stretched the Blue Jays' winning streak to five games and bumped the Astros' losing streak to four games.

Toronto swept the three-game series with the Astros after being swept in a four-game series in Houston last month.

Right fielder Jose Bautista hit two solo home runs, and catcher Russell Martin hit a two-run blast for the Blue Jays. Center fielder Jake Marisnick homered for the Astros.

"When you start playing good baseball, when you get on some nice little roll, things start going your way," Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said.

Pinch hitter Munenori Kawasaki led off the bottom of the ninth with a double down the left field line against right-hander Luke Gregerson (2-1), and shortstop Jose Reyes singled him home to cut the lead to 6-5.

Reyes stole second with one out, and Bautista's infield pop up fell for a single that left runners at first and second. Astros manager A.J. Hinch argued for an interference call after shortstop Jonathan Villar tripped over Reyes and dropped the ball.

"The discussion was really about intent," Hinch said. "So, with the runner on base, he has a little bit of safety net to stay there. What they huddled about was whether or not he intentionally either interfered or intentionally didn't get out of the way. I guess it's how they interpret him getting down while he's standing on the base."

Villar added, "that was a fly that I thought (Reyes) should have moved a little bit to the other side of the bag."

Meanwhile, Gregerson saw things a little differently.

"I don't know what the rule is," Gregerson said. "Obviously, they feel he was on the bag, and he is entitled to it and he doesn't have to move."

Reyes added: "That was a little bit crazy. At the same time I have to stay on the base so it's not my fault. It just worked out very good for us then."

Reyes and Bautista executed a double steal, and Colabello delivered the game-winning hit.

"It was a slider down and away," Gregerson said of his pitch to Colabello. "Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good in this game. I thought today I made some really good, quality pitches off the plate and out of the zone, and they found ways to put them in play."

"I know he's slider heavy," Colabello said. "We got our scouting reports, and I've faced him a couple of times now. We were just talking about how great it was that the Joses both did the double steal because now, getting a runner to third makes it a little bit harder for him to want to bounce one or throw his really nasty one.

"I told myself if it's above my waist I'm going to swing."

Right-hander Collin McHugh allowed seven hits, one walk and three runs while striking out three in six innings for the Astros.

Right-handed knuckleballer R.A. Dickey allowed four hits, four walks and two runs with five strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings for the Jays.

Liam Hendriks (1-0) pitched two scoreless innings for the win.

The Blue Jays (28-30) took a 1-0 lead on Bautista's homer with two outs in the first.

The Astros (34-24) tied it in the second. Left fielder Colby Rasmus led off with a double, took third on a groundout to shortstop and scored on Dickey's wild pitch.

Marisnick hit a home run to left, his fourth of the season on a 3-2 pitch with one out in the third.

Martin restored Toronto's lead in the fourth when he drove a 2-2 pitch to right center for his eighth homer of the season following a one-out single by designated hitter Dioner Navarro.

The Astros scored four runs (two earned) in the seventh to take the le
