Indians 9, Orioles 0:
Corey Kluber struck out nine over seven scoreless innings to lead visiting Cleveland to its fifth win in six games.

Carlos Santana swatted a two-run homer and scored twice while Ryan Raburn delivered a two-run double as the Indians handed Baltimore its sixth home defeat in seven games. Lonnie Chisenhall and Michael Bourn each had two hits to back Kluber (5-3), who scattered five hits to improve to 3-0 with 48 strikeouts in his last five starts.

Ubaldo Jimenez (2-6) failed to retire a batter in the fifth inning and was charged with five runs on four hits and five walks in his first start against his former team. Nelson Cruz was 2-for-4 with a double for the Orioles, who were shut out for the fourth time after putting up at least six runs and 12 hits in each of their previous five games.

The first seven batters reach safely in Cleveland's five-run fifth, with the first run coming across on Jonathan Schoop's errant toss on an attempted force play at second base. Aviles' bloop single made it 2-0 and ended Jimenez's day in favor of T.J. McFarland, who hit Michael Brantley with a pitch to force in a run before Chisenhall's RBI single and Raburn's double-play grounder extended the lead to 5-0.

The Indians turned it into a blowout in the seventh when Raburn doubled home a pair of runs off McFarland and Santana greeted reliever Brad Brach with a two-run shot to right for a 9-0 edge. Kluber faced little resistance during his dominant stint and took over the major-league lead with 83 strikeouts.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Brantley and Bourn extended their hitting streaks to 10 and eight games, respectively, while Chisenhall had his fourth straight two-hit game and ran his hitting streak to seven games and his RBI streak to five. ... Orioles CF Adam Jones has reached base in 18 consecutive games following his first-inning single. ... The Orioles acquired C Nick Hundley and cash considerations from San Diego in exchange for LHP Troy Patton. Baltimore also recalled INF Steve Lombardozzi from Triple-A Norfolk. ... Orioles 3B Manny Machado (groin) sat out his second straight game, as did Indians SS Asdrubal Cabrera (knee/foot) and 1B Nick Swisher (knee).
