Orioles 5, Astros 4 (10): Steve Clevenger doubled home the winning run in the bottom of the 10th as Baltimore beat Houston for its fifth consecutive victory.

The Orioles, who had tied the score with a run-scoring infield single with two outs in the ninth, set up the game-winner when J.J. Hardy reached on an infield single with one out in the 10th before Clevenger followed with his double into the left-field corner off Paul Clemens (0-1). Ryan Webb (2-0) picked up the victory after pitching a scoreless 10th.

Jose Altuve gave the Astros a 4-3 lead with a two-out, two-run single in the ninth inning. After a 54-minute rain delay, Houston retired the first two batters in the bottom of the ninth, but the Orioles managed to load the bases and pinch-hitter Delmon Young beat out a high-hopper up the middle to tie the score at 4.

Nelson Cruz homered to lead off the eighth and give the Orioles a 3-2 lead and Baltimore was within an out of a victory when Altuve singled to right-center field, driving in pinch-runner Dallas Keuchel and Jonathan Villar. Houston starter Collin McHugh went 6 1/3 innings, giving up two runs and seven hits.

Adam Jones also homered for the Orioles and Baltimore starter Miguel Gonzalez went the first seven innings, allowing two runs and six hits before Tommy Hunter blew a chance at his 12th save in the ninth. Clevenger had three hits.
